It works well, is portable, large enough to light a targeted space, not a whole room. I bought this mostly for using with my decorated sugar cookies that have glow in the dark icing on them. But I also realized that it works well to show stains in places where you think they may be clean, but body fluids can fluoresce differently so I used it in my bathrooms as well. And it does a great job there. The light is great sized. It is comfortable and feels pretty beefy in the hands. It takes two -three packs of batteries to run it. It gives of great light and when used in a dark place is really cool to use for glow in the dark colors, or whatever you wish to use it for. It has a 1 year warrantly and I am happy for that.
