I have searched high & low for a Keyboard to Replace my Microsoft 4000. After trying several other keyboards, I found a Winner in the ProtoArc, comfort, functionality. I type 8 hours a day & this keyboard is Awesome. One Complaint- the right & left space bars make a loud clunking noise. I tpye by touch, which is very light. For the price point, I expected to not have the clunking noise of the space bars. Would I recommend this item, absolutely!!! Okay. So for gaming. I don’t know. But for life. Omg. It connects to the iPad the pc the iPhone the other pc. It will connect to anything. And with you to three decives at once. You to can switch from product to product with ease instead of having two or more keyboards or constantly changing dongles.     • Great new keyboard
I have been searching for this keyboard my whole life. Much better than the MS sculpt, which isn't a bad product. The arrow keys take some getting used to, but that will come. Altogether, 5+ stars!

    • The 6 key is on the left hand
This is an awesome combo. Both keyboard and mouse feel great. My only complaint is that the #6 key is on the left side and I'm used to using my right index finger. Battery seems to last a long time which is good cause I was worried and almost didn't buy because the batteries are permanent.

    • Great setup - works perfectly
In the past few days I was removing and connecting back my old keyboard and mouse between two laptops, but with this new keyboard my life has changed! It's so easy to switch between my two laptops for both keyboard and mouse. Keyboard would be perfect it would have "Home" and "End" buttons.

Mouse was great. Comfortable to use. Keyboard takes a little getting use to and lags especially on start up. Characters won't display right away when typed

The keyboard itself is sturdy but they keys keep getting stuck and the keypad having the home, pg up/down and end keys is not set up well. i was trying to find something that helped my carpal tunnel and this is not the product. I waited too long as i was tyring it out and after a month or so, the keys started sticking. ... show more

I have been using a very OLD PC Concepts nsplit keyboard for some time now. I have tried several new ones and they are okay, but most of them are just not as nice as I would like. I really wish they would have a mouse pad built into the pad under the numerical keys- THAT is what I REALLY want. But, this is still worth a look. KEYBOARD SET UP The key set up is perfect. I did not have to reorient myself at all to using this keyboard. KEY RESPONSE The keys respond perfectly. The size is perfect. The spring back again very nice. I can type quickly on these and not have a lot of errors which is very unusual for a new keyboard. ON DESKTOP If I try to use this on a desktop, I don't like it as well. The reason? The soft pad at the bottom of the keyboard is sticky and abrasive on my skin. I don't have the ability to move around without chafing. The different height options help a lot though and make it easy to adapt. ON LAP That is where this SHINES for me. I can sit back on my chair at my desktop and hold this at a 45 degree downward angle on my lap and type very comfortably. At that point the wrist pillow takes longer to bother my skin. MOUSE The mouse houses the USB dongle that you need to have this work. I am using this on an old Windows 7 computer and the driver and USB dongle work PERFECTLY. No problems. The mouse works great and responds well. I still prefer a mousepad built into the keyboard, but this is still a decent alternative. The door of the mouse is magnetic that holds in the USB. MULTIPLE I also like that I can use this with multiple devices. THE BOTTOM LINE This is a fantastic split keyboard. If I could change anything to make it absolutely perfect, it would be to have the wrist pad not be abrasive and the mouse built into the keyboard as a mouse pad. MY RATING I still give this FIVE STARS. I love how I can use this at a downward angle on my lap and type just as fast or faster than on a desktop. I will probably be using this for my laptop as well as my desktop. THIS REVIEW I typed this entire review on this keyboard tilted on my lap at the downward angle I described in the review. It went perfectly and as fast as my old keyboard which has been the fastest keyboard I have ever used. ... show more
