  • Way better than expected.
Color: Camouflage
Way better than expected. I did not necessarily expect it to be as comfy or as good of quality as I normally look for. When the product was received, I immediately put it on and tried it out. I am very satisfied with the quality of this product. Positives: 1. Light material 2. Way warmer than expected 3. WAY more comfy than expected 4. Neck length extends a good distance to provide ample coverage 5. Head cover is well integrated into the face mask (not like other poor quality look a likes) 6. Stitching is of good quality. 7. What I ordered is what I got Common questions: 1. Is it waterproof? - I have no idea, but if it rains on me, I'm sure I wont mind as this is fairly comfy and warm. Sorry guys and gals - no negatives here. 100% satisfied with this product ... show more

  • Very comfortable and warm
Color: Camouflage
Don't let the thinness of the material fool you on this, this is very versatile from wearing as a full face mask or folding down to just go around your neck or partial covering of the head regardless it is very warm and comfortable

  • Super versatile and rugged
Color: Camouflage
I've had it for several years, now. Washed it many times, and taken it hunting many times. Great for layering. Can wear it over a hat, under a beanie, or by itself, fully covered, on the nose, or off the nose (to prevent fogging), pulled down to eat, drink, or talk, or with the face up and the top down, or with all of it pulled down around the neck for a little extra warmth, or it just easily pulls completely off, and fits into a small pouch or pocket. Great for layering for cold mornings and/or quad rides, and then stowed for hikes or warmer mid-day. ... show more

  • Great hunting mask
Color: Camouflage
I'll be honest, the low price and lack of true brand name recognition in the hunting arena really made me skeptical to buy this mask. I hunt late season, in one of the coldest places you can in the US, and going out on a limb was something I literally took months talking myself into doing. In Northern Minnesota in December, seeing 0 is a rarity. My first hunting trip started at -15 and warmed up to a balmy -5. This mask performed perfectly. Sitting in a stand, with a brisk wind ripping through, didn't have any cold issues on the nose, cheeks or anything that was covered by this mask. I do wear an extra hat to keep ears and head warm, but, that should go without saying in that kind of cold. Comfortable to wear? Very. I wore it some days with sun glasses on and found it really easy to slip the shades on and off through the day. I didn't find it nearly as tight as others have mentioned, but, that is entirely personal considering face-shape and size etc. Considering I was wearing the mask for 10-11 hours at a time with no issues, I'd say the comfort box gets checked. One thing I also found very nice was the ease of sliding the face/nose shield piece down to get some fresh air. Far too often in a lot of these products that functionality gets lost. When you just want a breath of cold, fresh air without that in your path, the last thing you want to do is take the whole thing off. I have worn this turkey hunting in the spring as well, which required a lot more trekking and moving as we closed in on a gobbler, and the mask stayed in place very well. It also didn't overheat me to no ends, which speaks to the breathability moving through the woods, a field or two, and then getting things setup. All in all, for the money, is well worth a buy for any hunter to have. I can't speak to it being as good as a "scentLok" product in terms of hiding odor, but, I've never had a deer wind me and run because of the mask failing. So, take that as you'd like even if you're a brand snob. ... show more

  • Very warm
Color: Camouflage
I can hunt when everyone else freezes out. I love the hinged aspect so I can wear it how I need it, and it's comfortable and not bulky at. I wear a baseball style camo hat over it without the hassle of having to readjust.

  • Very handy and warm!
Color: Camouflage
Handy to have, perhaps a little tight across the nose, but you can pull on it to loosen it up. The scull cap that you can pull back is a nice feature. This was pretty warm, but required an additional layer (parka hood) at 28*F while not moving. Good camouflage. Overall, great product for hunting.

  • Great balaclava if you have a small nose or don't wear glasses
Color: Camouflage
I bought two of these balaclavas for hunting season this year. Although the item seems to be well constructed, warm, and possibly effective I returned both for two reasons. The first, one of us wears glasses, which fog up making it impossible to see in cold November mornings. The second reason is that the mask is too tight under the eye area and over the nose, flattening the nose, making it difficult to breath. If the wearer has a largish nose or formerly broken nose, this mask may impede breathing. I liked that the cap part hinged off the head and that the neck area was long enough to tuck inside coat. I also liked that the nose and mouth were completely covered. It seemed from the description that this would be a warm item. It just didn't work for us. I'd like to give it more stars because it seems like a good product. ... show more
