These little pads are great! We used to have a large rug that our couch was on and it kept it from moving on the hardwood floor. We no longer have that rug and the couch was constantly sliding on the wood whenever we sat down and leaned on the couch. Since we got these pads and put then under the couch feet, the couch hasn't moved since. They are great and they will absolutely keep your furniture in place and prevent any scratches on your hardwood floor. They work very well on laminate flooring. Good for apartment use. Only issue I have is that they don’t offer rectangular shapes. My couch has odd feet and requires a 4x3. I like the thickness of the product because it makes it seem like money well spent. So far so good. My couch hasn’t moved yet. These work great! We have hard wood floors and placed a loveseat between the family room and dining area. Any time someone sat down, it would slide across the floor. With these underneath the legs, it's a strain to even intentionally push the loveseat.

My couch/love seat both have the big fat legs. I tried a 3.5" round and the furniture sat on them. Found these 5" which are a little big but at least the whole leg sits in it. 5" round would have been great but I could not find them.
