All in all great desk lamp. I love that it is slim, not invasive, and lights up the whole desk. The ability to have it on 'auto' is excellent but love that you can change the temperature of the light on your own. The craftsmanship of this light is nice, with smooth aluminum casing and touch buttons on the top giving this piece a sleek minimalist approach to alternative desk lamps. From the lamp to the arm, the quality of the material is impressive. The rubber neck gives it a smooth and soft feel without kinking the material when you bend it. The vertical arm is half flexible and sturdy, with a nice aluminum arm that runs down to the clamp. The vise or clamp grabs the desk nicely and firmly without damaging your tabletop. The lamp does what it's advertised, and can light up a large surface area (My desk a 30" D x 60" W) without a problem. The lamp doesn't produce a glare on the screen or blind the user while seated at the desk. Cons: Versatility: This hurts me, and it comes from how you set your desk up. For me, the large clamp for the lamp takes up too much space. I had to move the LG monitor up about 3-4', taking up that valuable desk space for the lamp. The arm for the lamp also towered over my lower monitor and protruded out, blocking my second monitor above the light. It would have taken a lot to move the monitor up an extra 4-5" to clear the lamp. I wish you all had wall mounting options for this lamp beside desk options. In the meantime, I have designed and 3D printed a wall mount for this lamp. Please forgive me, but I had to take apart the arm to get access to the cable that runs inside, which the arm was really well crafted! Mounting the light to the wall allowed me to regain my desk space, set the light to the right level between the two monitors, and still be able to light my whole desk with this amazing lamp! I hope you all consider designing and making a wall mount option for this lamp so that others may also have that option if necessary. This could set this lamp apart from other lamps and manufacturers that designed lamps with just a desk clamp. Disclaimer: The original arm is not presented in my pictures. The white arm/wall mount is a modification to what the manufacturer has not included in the original kit. The light itself isn't modded, just what it is mounted to. ... show more

I've now bought two of these, which is endorsement enough! I like the customizable brightness and color temperature. Even more, I like the fact that the light remembers the settings. Assembly was easy and the light pattern is nice and even across a 5 foot wide desk with two largish monitors.

I very much like the lamp and it illuminated my home work space nicely. But exactly 12 months after I started using it, it no longer turns off. When I press the power switch it alternates between minimum dimness and max brightness. I have to unplug it if I want to turn the light out. I am disappointed that it failed after 12 months, at this price point I would expect it to be reliable for at least 3 years. ... show more

i set my expectations pretty low for this product. i thought i’d be getting something fairly flimsy that i’d have to fiddle with to get it to work right. i accepted that potential reality. materials: when i pulled this thing out of the box i was immediately impressed by the quality of the construction. in all seriousness this seems like something Apple would sell for $300 adjustability: first, the silicone-sheathed gooseneck not only feels and looks great, it’s sturdy. it’s outrageously easy to maneuver into position. lighting: if you sold me a desk lamp with 3 color temperatures i’d think it was premium; 4 i’d say that’s a luxury feature. 6 color temperatures, 6 brightness steps. if you run it on max brightness you’ll need sunglasses the power cables are well thought out and totally inconspicuous. assembly was clicking 2 pieces together. honestly, if the electronics hold up this is the GOAT desk lamp. time will tell ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I am a harsh critic but this lamp is amazing, and for $60 it’s a great value. It’s dimmable and has different color temperature settings . Installation took 3 minutes. I am getting a second one for mine and my husbands home offices
