I'm a jeweler & this is a great resin that I like to use when making inlay bands for my customers. I also happen to use a UV Glue Pen which basically has a similar UV adhesive in it along with the UV light. I just use the light on the pens & not the glue, for the adhesive inside the pen isn't as hard as this one is. But together they work GREAT!! The UV pen light cures what you shine it on in seconds. However, I still wait about 24 hours for it to completely cure. But that's just because there's depth to my inlay bands. As far as using this for a simple repair or quick little fix on a broken pair of glasses for example, it works great! But, again, you will need a UV light. The UV Light Pens are a great for just the common household fix it. But this particular resin is much harder, more durable, & will last a long time. BTW, don't ever leave the lid off by accident...it will solidify if you do that. I've learned from my mistakes! LOL! ... show more

Easy to use! I used this UV resin SPECIFICALLY to glue the film to the already-cured epoxy resin shaker piece I was making. A quick 60 second bake under UV light and it was stuck onto my piece and i was able to add liquid inside the shaker cavity with no leaks. 10/10 recommend!

If you are getting tackiness problems, you may not have the resin close enough to the light! I first tested the resin by pouring it into a very small silicone mold (a heart shape about the size of a dime) after spraying it with mold release spray. I bought a UV LED flashlight (about 390-400 nm) and held it about 5 inches away from the mold. It came out tacky and uncured. Afterwards, I tried again with a similar sized mold, didn't use any spray, and held the flashlight as close as I could to the mold. This time it came out much more solid, and cured in seconds. If you're having tackiness issues, you may need to try a different approach! ... show more

This is my favorite UV resin out of four other brands I've ordered from Amazon. It has the least shrinkage, least fume, and least stickiness. As with all instant curing resins, it's best to do thin layers one at a time for a bigger project, but this brand will cure 1/8" thick with no warping.

It’s easy to use, but if you are looking for something that keeps a glass-like finish this isn’t it. If anything rubs against the surface after it fully cures, yes FULLY cures with a uv lamp it will get sticky and gum up. Especially if it is cloth or you hands. I have even tried letting it sit in the sun for a few days to give it extra time to cure. It still does the same thing. I’ve tried covering up the bad layer with regular resin and it just peels off. I’ve had to throw away pieces of artwork because of this stuff. I would not recommend it at all. And never try it in tiny molds. Just don’t get me started. It should work. It doesn’t. ... show more

I got this hoping to use it as a top coat for my lighter paintings, didn't work. It peels up very easily when scratched and when it dries it still feels tacky to the touch like it's never actually fully dry. I also was VERY disappointed when my bottle came in half empty.
