The old side fence in my back yard was very wobbly and tipping. We were expecting a storm and I knew this section wouldn't survive, so I researched options and purchased these stakes. What a great buy. The fence is as sturdy now as the day it was built. I watched it as the storm winds were peaking, and it barely moved - while a gate on the other side of the house was wrecked, as were numerous other fences in the neighborhood. Installation was a breeze. Depending on how dry/hard your ground is, you just need a small sledge hammer, and a drill or ratchet or similar to install the lug bolts into the post. But the thing that makes these stakes different is the dogleg offset. Aside from making it sturdier, it means you can install these OVER/AROUND the existing concrete footing, with zero or minimal concrete removal. Perfect! ... show more

Used these to fix two separate 4” fence posts that were leaning badly due to settling and/or breaking below the surface. These braces were exactly as advertised. Constructed well and included everything as listed. Both were simple to install using a 5 pound sledge hammer. Very satisfied and will be purchasing another set to shore up a couple other posts. We got a six pack of these to put on my fence that was starting to tip over- they made it unbelievably solid. Very easy to install, and they came with the lag screws and hex bit. All you need to install is a sledge hammer, and socket wrench set OR drill. Highly recommend.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase bc I wasn’t sure how effective they would be with posts encased in concrete. But one side was chiseled a little and they fit perfectly. Used 2 supports to one post. Purchased another pair when we checked all the posts and found a weak one. .

The fact everything came with this and I only had to have a sledgehammer and drill/driver was fantastic. This just saved me having to replace 8 feet of fence because of one post. I do recommend earplugs though.
