I'm so confused on how this is highly rated. I bought it with the great expectations of it smelling like a bakery. I wanted to open it up and have to resist the urge to take a big bite of the waxy chap stick. This was in a box from Amazon with a bunch of other things I ordered. I was so excited to get the chapstick (out of all my orders) and so disappointed when I ripped it open and the smell of rotten milk hit me. It does NOT SMELL GOOD AT ALL. So you think ok, well if it doesn't smell good maybe it works well? Nope.... within about 10 mins of putting it on you can't even tell you applied any thing to your lips. If it does anything it dries your lips. Not moisturizing at all. I don't understand the other reviews and maybe I just got a bad one? Idk but I would return if I could. ... show more

This is my favorite flavor in the EOS chapstick. Personally I like the sticks a lot more than the eggs. I’ve tried a lot of flavors over the years as I usually have chapstick on me at all times. 2 in my car, 1 in my purse and then 1 in my pocket and 1 in my backpack and I have a decent size restock bag of different ones. Not only it this lip balm not heavy or greasy, but I love the yummy smell. I can actually smell the difference between the golden cake and the vanilla frosting, and not some cheap sickly-sweet vanilla scent used. It does have a simple sweet flavor so you're not tasting birthday cake all day and could get sick of that. Or that may be the thing that disappoints you. Me, I like the simple sweet taste. And just because I'm odd, I like the matte finish to the lip balm applier. It just feels nice to hold to applying and the 'click' when it snaps close. Much better than Chapstick, which actually end up drying out your lips in the long run. Did you know that your lipstick get addicted to Chapstick? These are a much better option. This will be my second purchase of these in a duo and I just finished the other two. I keep one on my Nightstand and use every night before I go to bed and the other one I keep in my handbag and I always use it underneath my lipsticks. Since It’s a balm it adheres to the lips and leaves a soft matte finish, but also is very hydrating. It’s great for those super matte lipsticks that dry your lips out. I always use these under lipid lipsticks and I think they look so much better with this underneath and it does not disrupt the color or the fact that the liquid lipstick does not come off on your cup. So I did some research and ran across this product. It had great reviews and was so different from the traditional chap sticks. I fell in love with it immediately... great flavor and lip protection.
