That's the definite edge of carbon fiber guitars.
  • WHERE THINGS GET INTERESTING - The absolute differentiator of this guitar is that its equipped with the SP1 pickup system. It gets you reverb, delay, and fusion effects on your bare guitar, unplugged. No pedals nor amps are needed. Theres a little speaker inside the body of the guitar, which produces these effects sound, and it can be also used for music playback via Bluetooth.
  • A PRODUCTIVITY WORKHORSE - SP1 pickup system not only allows you to have tons of fun unplugged. But if you plug it into an amp or PA, this Nova Go SP1 carbon fiber acoustic-electric guitar becomes a workhorse for you to gig with. Whats more, SP1 comes with USB On-The-Go connectivity. It would never snap or fall off. Meanwhile, we've put a truss rod into the neck, giving your more adjustability for the string action, even though the factory setup is already optimum. Also, the Zero Fret feature is added for smoother tuning.

  • I love my Enya Nova Go guitar.
Size: Acoustic Color: Black
I ordered the non effects version of the Enya Nova Go guitar, I wanted just a plain acoustic guitar. I have been looking for a small parlor size guitar and saw the Nova Go on Amazon and took a chance and ordered it. Mine came with a soft shell case with a zipper, the case is pretty nice. The guitar is a lot better than I expected, the action was a little high so I filed the bottom of the bridge saddle to get the low action I wanted and filed down the zero fret and recrowned the zero fret to lower the action at the nut and I am really very happy with the guitar. It has very low action with absolutely no fret buzz, extremely easy to play for an acoustic. It has a surprisingly good tone for a guitar with no wood. It is perfect for me, an acoustic guitar that is small like an electric, very lightweight, can be left in a hot automobile with no problems. I really love this guitar. I do not regret this one bit, I am completely satisfied with my Enya Nova Go. Make no mistake, it does not sound like a wooden guitar, but then it doesn’t sound bad either, and a wooden guitar is not this light nor can it be left in a hot vehicle without suffering damage and then go in an air conditioned room and still be in perfect tune. To me this is a really good, totally playable and durable great sounding guitar. I love it. ... show more

  • Very nice travel guitar
Size: Acoustic Color: Black
I own and have owned a lot of really nice guitars, both old and new, and made by both companies and individual makers. Does the Enya compare to these guitars in tone? No. But the guitar is marketed as a travel guitar. Lightweight and small, it delivers more sound than you would expect. Does the Enya compare to the other guitars in playability? Yes--in fact better than many of them. The neck is comfortable and the fretwork is actually very very good. I'd probably prefer a bit smaller radius on the fretboard, but that's just personal taste. It plays great, and the small size frequently makes me reach for it above other guitars because I can play it in an armchair and grab it with one hand from across the room. I did lower the action a bit by lowering the saddle, but the factory action was decent. I just wanted it a bit lower. I build and repair stringed instruments so I was comfortable in doing this. Again, it played fine right out of the box. I'm just a bit of a guitar snob. I've had Martins and other good brands with much worse playability out of the box. The fact that the Enya's construction makes it safe to take out in bad weather, leave in a hot car and other things that I just wouldn't do with a "better" guitar makes it a great travel instrument. Especially combined with its low cost. Does the Enya's fit and finish compare with other guitars? Yes. The fit and finish are quite good. Finish on the fret ends is particularly impressive. Bottom line--This is sold as an inexpensive travel guitar. It is definitely that. It doesn't sound like a megabuck acoustic, but I like the sound nonetheless. It plays really well, regardless of price point. It's a fun and practical little guitar, and it would be a bargain at several times its price in my opinion. It's amazing to me that such a playable, enjoyable little guitar can be sold at such a low price. ... show more

  • Very resonant, great price! Durable!
Size: Acoustic Color: Black
My first reaction was ugh. But after playing it for a while, I realized that it is its own thing, largely as a result of being carbon "fiber"/composite/mush, whatever it actually is?? Anyway, main criticism is that the neck is twice as heavy as the body so it really needs a strap or just stabilize it on your lap real well. But it's an easy work around. I took it into the guitar store and compared it to a Little Martin with spruce top and HPL back and sides and this sounded considerably better. It was intonated much better. That really surprised me b/c it was half the price of the Martin. It does a weird thing that I have heard is related to the carbon fiber... it almost has a resonant drone in the background. You can play and hear this hum behind the other notes that gives it a unique and powerful sound character unlike any guitar I've heard. At first I thought it was too "boxy" but I don't feel that way anymore. My ear has gotten used to it and it's less boxy sounding than most small guitars. Also, the trebles are super resonant. The action was pretty good out of the box! It works pretty well for A minor pentatonic stuff up the neck and even doing little electric runs (without the electricity). I thought I would be disappointed with it b/c it wasn't the version with effects but I am very glad I purchased it now. It came with a more traditional cheap soft-shell case. Not the reinforced one they had with the earlier versions. Also a pair of extra strings, polishing cloth. Nicely done! I'm pleased! I think this would be a great little guitar for kids too given that it's durable and doesn't require them to master concepts of humidification, like with wood guitars (do people humidify their guitars)? Not the ones I see. This guitar is so neat, I am kind of sold on carbon fiber now. Peace and sincerely. ... show more
