So far so good with this one. Got about a bag of pellets through it and heat is good, love the app control. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is the condition. Got a little scuffed on delivery, paint rubbed off a little in some areas from the box it was in, but that wasn't the worst of it. They don't heat these things up from the factory, you have to run it on high for 30 min to cure the paint yourself. Well after smoking us out of the house, I'm sure the paint is cured, but it bubbled up is some small spots above the door. After the horror of every smoke alarm going off in the house, it no longer smoked and seams to be in good working order. Hoping to find out what kind of paint was used so I can touch it up. ... show more

I'll start with the positives. In ECO2 mode, I set the temp and it holds the temp in the room....depending on the size of the room in my case the entire basement 980sq ft. If it goes down to 18 degrees outside it holds the temp I set on the control. I am impressed with pellet consumption and the heat I get out of it. The negatives: I found this first here on Amazon, I bought from Ace Hardware locally because I got it much cheaper and if I had a problem with it I could take it back... within the first hour I got an error code and it shut down on its own. I called the number and the techs were very helpful and sent a main controller, and a combustion blower which I replaced myself....back up and running for 2 days then shut down with the same error code. Called again got a new vacuum switch and since then it's been 100%. The lid when you open it on top shuts down the auger everytime you open to add pellets.....kinda silly there is no, absolutely no good engineering reason to put a microswitch on the pellet lid. It's not a washing machine! Also there is no clean out drawer, tray, nothing of any sort to get the ash out. The cavities on each side collect as with the burn cup... and you'll have to shut down, cool down completely to clean it out with your newly purchased Chinese ash vacuum! Yep! You better have a hot ash vacuum to clean it out! You won't be dumping the ash pan out nor sweeping anything...it's purely a vacuum out job to clean it out thoroughly. And it doesn't say that anywhere, except here in this post. You're welcome! I honestly only have this for heat this winter so... I paid the purchase price and got it to work. Because I had to...and once I got through the issues I'm mildly annoyed at the lid and ash clean out but still happy I got heat. ... show more

Doesn't heat like they claim trying too heat a 2100 square foot home in nc and it can't keep up . Definitely disappointed.

First off do your first burn outside. I use this in the Garage. Once I have it dialed in it runs great, and all I have to do is fill the hopper. I have mine set to run 2 hours at night, 3 hours in the morning, and 3 hours in the afternoon on setting P3, Eco 1, automatic. The manual sucks , go online to the website and go to questions and open up all the answers, there is another menu with a ton of settings that aren't in the manual. You need to be in Eco 1 and automatic if you want this stove to shut off and turn on onto its own. I am happy with the stove, clean it every 24 hours for heat efficiency. This is my 3rd pellet stove and it heats better and is more fuel efficient than the other two. ... show more

Update to zero stars if we could 4.17 Used less then 3 months. . First off the only reason we purchased the Large Pellet Stove PS 139W was for the 130 pound hopper. This is a false statement as we are lucky to get 2 bags 1 bag = 40 pounds. Total 80 lbs. there is absolutely no way we could put a 3rd bag plus 10 more lbs. Second. User manual no so user friendly, after calling the office and receive and email of “updates” NOT on the downloadable manual. Seriously? I could type up a new manual in a few hours. Customer support was not that friendly after I emailed back that we could not get the pellet stove to run over 30 minutes. It took CS 6 days to reply. We finally figured out the burn pot was installed wrong from the factory! NOTHING IN THE MANUAL TO CHECK CORRECT PLACEMENT OF THE BURN POT. Now 3 month in using, we already have a decaying burn pot. If we are lucky we have run 25 bags through the brand new pellet stove. We bought this stove based on reviews and the 130 lbs hopper. This is NOT correct information and needs to be adjusted on your site as well as companies that sell your product. If we could return this pellet stove we would. That’s how disappointed we are. This is the 5th pellet stove we have owned. Here on out we will stick to the name brands. 1st review after using 3 days Purchased this stove from TSC....shipping was horrible! Actually set our stove to another customer in CO...finally got our stove and worse storm in 20 years hit for 30 plus dats and 7.5 ft of snow. Finally got pellet stove installed yesterday. Room temp heat sensor is zipped tied to back of stove, so it thinks it is 1 degree difference from room temp to output temp...not cool! Moved that and finally got pellet stove to run, however it cleans itself every 30 to 99 minutes....and will shut down! None of our other stoves ever did this! You can run others 23 hours, then shut off and clean. This one shuts down and temps in room drops quick, especially if 15 degrees outside! Not something I would have purchased if I had known about this shut down and clean feature! I wanted to love this stove as it holds 3 bags of pellets but CAN NOT bring my 2200 sq ft house from 65 to anything over 66. Set at 72. Disabled and cant lift bags of pellets. Lowe’s sells one that holds 2bags....buy that one. Extremely disappointed! ... show more
