  • Easy Install
The install was quick and easy. It took longer to clean the greasy housing than it took to install the new motor. The blade was off center a little so I used the old blade as it was still good. I have had the exhaust fan motor for 2 weeks now using it on a regular basis, no issues. High and low speeds work well and enough power to open the flap to exhaust the air. Will update if I run into issues, ... show more

  • Exactly what I needed
Quick delivery and the perfect replacement part

  • Had to fix but works well
The fan came in missing a nut and the blades were broken so I had to use the old blades and take a nut for the bracket off my old fan. The installation was easy and works well even with the replacement parts. Still pleased that it is working perfectly.

  • Fan replacement Broan F40.000-a
This unit perfictly replaces the original. the only issue was, I had to push the blade all the way in on the motor shaft to clear the grill. Even though the unit is Chinese made it is AO Smith branded, big +, I like to see a trusted name on a discounted price product. The fan is verry powerfull in low and high mode just as good as original when it was new. When buying these units look for the lable to be ligt grey in color like this one. I bought 2 units that were cheaper from other suppliers here on amazon. the motors on those units were wrapt with a white label and the size of the motors were smaller, RPM was slower and the high speed circuit burnt out with less than an hour use. Conclusion: This is a great unit, a must buy for fan replacement. A+ ... show more

  • Not as expected
I don't think this fan is close to the same speed on high as my old one. Low speed is good. Fan blade was put on up side down and had to use my blade from my old fan as the new one was non-functional. I will try another brand of fan, would not recommend.

  • Fits a 20 year old Kenmore Stove Fan
This fan has been working great, since I installed it in December. This was about 1/2 the cost of a Kenmore Fan, it said it would fit mine, & it did. I just unscrewed 3 screw, unplugged the old one, and plugged this in. It is a little faster, & louder than the old one, & I had to squeeze one of the blades in a tad, so it wouldn't hit the screen cover, but I don't care. The screen goes over it without hitting it. Worth the savings to me. I would buy it again. 6/6/20 Update: The first one I got ran great for about 5 months. So it is still getting 3 stars, for the 5 months I got our of it, & it was easy to install and fit well. It was replaced, & the second one ran 10 minutes, and only ran on one speed instead of 2, like the last one. It was also hot to the touch. I would have been ok, with the 2nd one lasting at least as long as the 1st, but 10 min on the 2nd one, no thanks, I'll try another brand. I am requesting a refund . ... show more

  • Older hood vent replacement
It works as it should with both low and high speeds. It is balanced enough to not cause any issues during operation. In my situation I had to cut the plug end off and use wire nuts. Only issue with fitment was the bracket was too long for the indented metal on the hood vent. I just clipped off enough of the ends to make it fit and then it bolted right up. Seems to suck more air than the one it replaced which may have been close to 30 years old. 👍👍 ... show more
