I bought this warmer to place in my bedroom for the lighting. I am very satisfied with it's appearance and changing of colors. This warmer does get hot. I was a bit concerned that the tray for the wax was made of rubber or a silicon type material since I have only purchased the metal or porcelian type. It smelled the room up great, however, when I went to empty it and change the tart, I noticed that the bottom of the rubber part was "wet." I checked for leaks, found nothing. I really like this wax melter. I used to use a candle wax melter and there is no comparison this is much better. The lights are also beautiful and you can always easily change them by using the switch. You can pick a solid color or pick alternating colors (keep clicking the switch to change the color settings) . The melter is also super easy to use and clean.
