While there is no timer, it is easily switched on and off. The size is perfect for any desk space. My favorite part is the removable top. It makes cleaning out the wax so easy! I absolutely love this little warmer. It has the rubber tray for your waxes so it's super easy to clean out and change your scent. I didn't even pay attention to the color changing part in the description when I bought it. It has like 6-7 colors it cycles through. It's way prettier than I expected. First of all, this thing is absolutely worth the price. It looks nicer than the other wax warmers I've had in the past by a considerable degree. I went with the forest design and it fits in beautifully with my space. The silicon tray that the wax sits in is a bit of genius design. It transfers heat to the wax far more quickly than ceramic trays I've had in the past with the added benefit of being far, far easier to clean out. You can wait for the device to cool and simply pop the entire piece of wax out. A couple odd choices do detract from it overall. The biggest drawback for me is the awkwardly placed power button that is halfway down the power cable. If you hoped to drape that cable behind a shelf to hide it, then you're going to have to fish it out every time you want to activate the device. Choosing the colors of the LED is also needlessly finnicky, requiring you to flip the device on and off again until you have the color you'd like. Neither of these issues are deal breakers, and I've adapted my space to accommodate the awkward control. Overall, I would be surprised if you could find a better wax warmer at this price point. I received one of these for a gift and liked it so much that I bought another one to use in another room. It Works really well and when you turn it off, it is very easy to pop out the hardened wax and add a new one. It can change colors or stay the same. It's really pretty.

Overall, this is for the most part, an upgrade from my Better Homes and Gardens (Walmart) glass wax warmer which uses an incandescent bulb. On the upside, it uses LEDs which are much less likely to burn out, and an electric heating element which is more efficient and not dependent on the light bulb burning out. My Walmart one's bulb lasted roughly 8 years and when I replaced it with wax warmer bulbs also bought from Walmart, they worked but did not heat adequately. I like the variety of designs but the glass Walmart design was certainly classier. However this feels modern and the differences in tech make it worth it. Having a silicone tray is also helpful as the coated metal one I had before would burn and coating flaked off. The only thing I don't like about this is I wish the light could be specifically set rather than always rotate through the RGB spectrum. ... show more
