Our old coffee maker was a popular brand and matching the Empstorm with it I found the construction comparable and it easily fit the existing space. The controls are different but simple to learn. The difference is the quality of the brew. This coffee maker makes a good cup of coffee! I haven't tried the "Strong" setting option yet but I'm enjoying a good cup and I'm not using as much ground coffee as I was with the old machine. ... show more

Looks good. First pot of coffee was good. Hope it lasts. My last purchased of a black and decker pot only lasted 3 months. Amazon delivered this coffee pot a day later than promised.

    • Nice coffeemaker but doesn't complete the amount of cups
I needed a small footprint and this brand was the only one that was perfect. It was more than I wanted to spend and I never heard of the brand, however, I can say that if you put in 8 cups it finishes with 6! and if you put in 10 cups of water to brew it doesn't complete and you get less than 10 cups. I must say the coffee is delicious and it gives you the option of how many cups you are making but it never fills up and the FINISH alarm goes off before it completes the brewing. ... show more
