Really great bed frame! I bought this because I got a new queen sized mattress from a friend but couldn’t get the box spring to my house without renting a U-Haul and my friends suggested a platform bed frame! I absolutely love this frame. I have only slept on it for two nights so far but it is very sturdy. The spacing between the horizontal bars is smaller than some other platform bed frames so the mattress doesn’t sink into the frame at the edges of the bed at all. I also love how much room is under the bed. 18” allows a 20 gallon bin to fit underneath so I can store so much under the bed. I also feel like it’s the perfect height off the ground. It doesn’t feel too short like a 14”-16” tall frame does to me. Great value for the $60 I paid, friends have paid $100 for less quality. I also loved setting this up. There was one difficult part but it’s because you have to hold the nut on the back of a screw with a little wrench that is difficult to grip in the small areas that you are working. Other than that it was very easy to assemble and the instructions were very clear. The screws and nuts were sorted by type, separated, and labeled by what step they’re in in the instructions. ... show more

It only took me about 20 min to put the entire frame together, and the instructions were very easy to follow. I appreciate the extra work that is needed to ensure a sturdy base. The media could not be loaded. The frame overall was easy to put together and it feels sturdy and quiet. The only issues I ran into is a bent channel where one of the supports drops into. I was able to bend it back enough to get the support in. My second issue is that one of the holes was made too big compared to the others so the provided bolts sit loose in it. I got two, one for my mom's bed and one for mine. I was the person who put the beds together and with the instructions I was able to put each together in a out twenty minutes each. All the needed tools come with the frame and the only added information I would suggest is when you are working on part f is put the but and screw in the bottom hole first and then the top ones, otherwise it is a bit tricky. Below our beds is plenty of room for storage, and our dog has taken residence with some pillows and blankets placed there for her. We both noticed that after sleeping in the frames that our bed became much firmer (they were previously on the floor) and our sleep quality improved. A few days in the quality is holding up well, and it is made with a metal so it looks nice. I would suggest if you have wood floors that you get something to put under the posts to prevent scratching. The beds seem much higher than the photos but we can easily get on and off, so if you have young kids, elderly individuals, or animals who need help after certain heights to be vary of it's height. Overall I think it works great as a base, I have no issues with any noise of the platform. I would suggest this to others! ... show more

I had another similar bed that I really liked but the bolts went missing when I moved it. I bought this as a replacement because it was less expensive than the replacement bolts - seriously! Everything about this bed - carrying the package, unpacking, the instructions and assembly were all much easier. And the bed is very sturdy. My older one would start to squeak after a while and I'd have to tighten bolts. The way this one is constructed seems to have solved the squeak issue. I don't think that will be a problem. Read reviews prior to purchase and figured what the heck. Easy to put together and once fully set up, this thing is very sturdy. Added a headboard and that too added some more rigidly, but not necessary. The only trouble with adding the headboard is you need to poke a holes into the slip cover. Due to the height of this bed frame, it allows to store large totes underneath, as another buyer noted in their review. My totes are 15” H and are just right with enough clearance. ... show more
