We moved into a new place and I ordered this for myself, but it was much too soft for my liking. My teenager was in need of a new mattress anyway, so I gave it to him and he loves it. It is really soft and I like the hybrid make. It feels like it will hold up for a good amount of time. I know mattress comfort is completely subjective, but I would consider this soft-medium and not medium-firm. It expanded right upon opening. I had it sit out for about 6-8 hours before sleeping on it and it was most definitely at its full 12-inches by that time. For the price, I’d say it’s a great mattress if you like plush. ... show more

These are not a high dollar mattress. So you get what you pay for. But I am impressed with the mattress for the cost. Have only had about 6 months so not sure about how well it’ll hold up but I’m 230lbs and it’s fairly comfortable. A little on the firmer side toward morning but unbearable.

In the beginning the mattress was great. It was comfortable and I slept well, but over time a hole where I slept started, eventually it got so deep that my back started to hurt. I had to replace the mattress after 2 years. Which seems short, since my previous mattress lasted 10 years before I had to get a new one. I've been using this mattress for almost 2 years and I still have no issues with it. It's soft and comfortable to sleep on. I am on the lighter side so that might be why it's holding up well as some other reviewers mention sinking spots on the mattress, which I don't have.

So I did my homework & found a mattress that fit my sleep needs! As I sleep on my back I needed something firm but also the frequent side sleeper I needed support. With the coils giving me the firmness I need & the softness from the top padding the past three nights have been incredible! I have a hard time wanting to get out of bed in the morning much as I felt in my previous mattress but with this mattress I am getting the support I need in the places I need the most. This is really a great and affordable option for acquiring a mattress. No need to pay for delivery or rent a truck or ask a friend to help get a big bulky mattress into your house and up onto the second or third floor. Also I was amazed at the fact that it was so comfortable. I suffer from a herniated disc in my low back so as a result many beds are very uncomfortable. That was not the case with this affordable gem. I also noted that a lot of reviews claim that it did not expand to the full height. Ours expanded to the full 12 inch height.
