We bought this for our XS dog ... because our favorite brand (Ruffwear), which we bought for our XL dog was $10 more expensive (same price for S and L dogs). We still need to see how this will last compared to the rough Ruffwear, but in all appearances, it looks like the same quality, and the details are great -- I love that the front hook is in metal (Ruffwear's fabric hook wears out for pullers), and the finition is awesome, as is the color. The top handle is large enough to slip in the car belt when our little guy seats on the front seat and hold him tight. Great color too. Happy with the purchase. Sizing correct -- of course, sizing will also depend on the body shape of your dog, not just the chest circumference. It arrived today. I went to put it on my Great Pyrenees and immediately as soon as I hooked her leash, not one, but TWO of the straps ripped completely off. Super disappointed after seeing so many reviews at how great these are. Well, GP-1, Embark-0. I also cannot contact the seller via Amazon, clicking the contact them on their website button says the community is unavailable, and Amazon does not provide me with a replacement option. It is a shame. Update: Amazon wanted me to go through a huge return hassle to have a replacement sent out, which is difficult due to living very rurally. Customer service from Embark reached out and sent me a new harness at no cost and without requiring a return. The harness they sent was a size smaller than I had purchased, so I reached out again. They offered to send me the correct sized harness, and threw in a collar too for the problem. I asked where I should return the medium harness that was sent in error, and they told me to give it away if I couldn’t use it. I will also be giving the collar away to a coworker who runs an animal rescue due to it being a size medium and my dogs being a size large currently (they are puppies and are giant breeds). Very responsive and helpful company, would recommend as they are the first company to make something right without hassle! ... show more

This harness is the best harness we have ever bought. We love how easy it is to adjust and how it fits perfectly. We love how easy it is to put on and where the leash attachment is located. The color is beautiful and will look beautiful on any dog. It's very well made and will last a long time. We tried it out in several different environments and places and it worked great in each place. Our precious Luna loves it and it looks beautiful on her and compliments her color nicely. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone who has a dog as it will work for you in any situation. If you like to hike or just go for a walk around the neighborhood this harness will work for you. I have a 60ish lbs senior AmStaff with mobility issues affecting one of his front legs more than the others. This harness is making both our lives easier. He has the standard bully breed broad chest so I ordered a large and it fits him perfectly. It could probably adjust to one full size smaller or larger so getting a proper fit was easy. I’m very happy with the quality. Material is durable but still lightweight and breathable. The chest is well supported which helps disturb weight/pressure evenly so the straps aren’t digging in when I’m helping him up and down. The straps are padded very well also, think neoprene type material. His comfort is most important to me and he’s completely unbothered by having this on 24/7. Things I wasn’t focused on as much but did notice There’s 2 metal leash buckles that are sturdy, one on the chest and another on the back. The reflective lining/seams are very noticeable at night Definitely happy with this one and absolutely worth what I paid. ... show more

    • Well built harness that fits my small dog!
The stitching is extremely well done, we have a small Shih Tzu only four months old. This harness has done wonders for the kids taking him for a walk. The collar would make him choke when he would pull. This eliminates that and fits him perfectly. It's been an essential tool in training him to walk with us, and for those days where he just gets ornery and decides he's going to pull anyways. I would definitely buy this harness again, for this dog or any other dog we happen to get. The documentation and the tags for name and number are written from your dogs perspective adding some nice humor to the deal as well. We have always been trying to find a good harness for our just turned 4 beagle/lab mix and we finally found one. This harness fits well and she seems comfortable wearing it. It’s not tight at all, doesn’t rub anywhere, doesn’t cover a lot of her body but is padded and not just straps. It is also secure and high quality and she can not get out of it. It has buckles on the front and back but we only use the back and she does not pull as much as with other harnesses. I think because she’s more comfortable and relaxed in this harness. The handle on the back is nicer too. It has more room so it’s easier to access if needed. I got the Baja and it looks really good so I ordered an Aurora as well. It looks good too, but my girl hasn’t tried it on yet. ... show more

Ordered this harness for an elderly large dog (65 lbs) with weak back legs. This fits well and seems to be comfortable. I gave the harness four stars because the product description said it had a gel-filled handle - it does not.

This is the fourth harness that I bought and tried - the previous three did not fit well, did not look comfortable or were not secure / made well for my little Henry... This one is absolutely perfect!! it's so perfect, I bought two!! My favorite part of the harness is that it's made with great materials and a lot of thought went into the design. The sturdy ring in the back for the leash is great, and it also has a built in loop behind the ring that I use for the seatbelt, so he's safe when we are walking, and also safe in my car. ... show more
