  • Just buy one! And don't look back!
What can I say, its a all around beast of a quad, fast suoer durable looks awesome great camera decent vtx. Can fly basically anywhere anytime, indoors on 1-cell yep, outside in windy conditions yep its strong enough to have some fun in windy weather. I'm in Texas its windy daily. But no worries with this little quad. And it will freestyle very well also. Its probably my go to all around favorite quad I have ever had. Emax hit a home run with this new set up. ... show more

  • Best of the Tinyhawk II Series
The media could not be loaded. The EMAX Tinyhawk II Freestyle is a great quadcopter. The only thing you really probably *shouldn't do with it is fly indoors, at least not stock tune... (and probably not without the 1S jumper plug that isn't included) However, it runs on cheap 1S batteries, you might already have a few if you fly Tiny Whoop. It plugs two packs in together to run on 2S power. It's slightly fussy to have two connections in such tight space... but it works ok. It should get around 5-7 minutes of flight time with the stock 450mAh batteries included. It's very quiet for how fast and powerful it is- even less noise than the smaller Tinyhawk II It's got plenty of power to lift an INSTA 360 GO for some HD stabalized footage. The Runcam Nano 2/200mw VTx give really good range. I have not, ever, used the stock SPI receiver on any Tinyhawk, so I can't speak to how good that is. I use Flysky receivers, and a Flysky NV14 Nirvana Radio and fly 500+ yards out in open space pretty easy. ... show more

  • Not worth the price!
Not a good value for the cost!! Cracked super easy, purchased a replacement part and it cracked too. My son isn’t a beginner, pretty good flyer and has an expensive stone but wanted this one more for racing, maneuvering and fun. The last time it flew it actually shorted out, caught on fire and fell to the ground burning. ... show more

  • Worth it. Good outdoor flier.
Great flier. Great range. Flies great like the v1, but the signal is better. The fight controller from this mode is a great upgrade to your V1 if you burned up the AIO controller. Not an indoor Quad. Gets stuck in trees very easily. I reversed props and still managed to get a second Freestyle stuck. The low beeper volume and small size make recovery very difficult as it’s tricky to locate the quad. I’ve smashed a couple bottom plates and a camera, but it’s easy to fix. Plastic mounts are a weak point, but does save weight. ... show more

  • Great quad when it doesnt break
Flew great for a minute then i tried to do a flip and it rocketed to the ground. Probably something I did but the plastic standoffs shattered and now wont power up. Will try another one before i give up on this quad and use this one for parts. Im only giving it 3 stars because the standoffs broke so easily and didnt make it past one crash. Update: After buying a second one of these quads I'll bump it up to 4 stars and not 5 cuz the first one broke so easily. This one flys great, even after crashing into trees and the grass, its held up awesome. Fun quad to fly and plenty fast enough for the area I have to play. ... show more

  • Great second FPV kwad
I used this to replace my TinyHawk 2 after a month of abuse led to the Flight controller failing. This is a blast to fly! More complex maneuvers came somewhat intuitively. Turtle mode is not as effective as the TinyHawk 2 due to the exposed props, but that is just the territory. I replaced to silly battery connector with an XT30. I wish it came with that or the same 2 pin as the TinyHawk 2, but my guess is that one would only make the voltage drop worse. The antennas are more exposed to crashes and will likely need replacement more frequently than the TinyHawk 2, but this thing begs to be pushed hard too, so... I love it!!!!! ... show more

  • Another hit from Emax
You can't build a quad at this price, this is a great value!. Runcam nano2, 200mw vtx, receiver, 2 batteries, and carrying case. Tips: 1. Easiest way to bind to your frsky transmitter is put transmitter in bind mode. Plug quad into betaflight, go to command line, type bind_rx. Wait about 15 seconds, type save. That's it. Speaking of betaflight, this quad already has vtx tables loaded, so you can go into vtx tab and change mw from default 25 to 200, if you desire, or use smart audio from your controller. No pushing tiny buttons. 2. The receiver antenna is a floppy boi, and will get into your props. As shown in my pic, I put a small piece of heat shrink on it, angling it down, then zip tied it in place. I also added a silicone mat for the battery, and a better tie down so the batteries stay put. Get more batteries, you'll need them. Either get more of the 1s and run dual, or get 2s batts and switch the connector over to xt30. ... show more

  • FC died!
This was a great little drone until the FC died. It started with the front motors cutting out and dropping out of the air to nothing happening when I’d plug the batteries in. Contacted the seller and had 0 response. Luckily I’m in my return window. I’ll probably purchase again, as it may have just been a defective unit. We shall see. ... show more
