This is a really sturdy bag, phenomenal quality. It keeps ice forever but what I like the most about it is that it is really really resistant, I put a whole lot of fish in it with sharp spines in their fins and the bag does not get perforated, no leaks, nothing... Very easy to wash and maintain, the zipper is extremely sturdy and (as long as you take care of it) moves easily especially when it's full of fish at the end of a fishing day. I did had a slight problem with the drain cap, and called their customer service... phenomenal! This is a great bag/cooler. Well designed and built with strong and durable materials. No leaks and keeps fish and ice cold for the entire day. But, after using about 8-10 times the zipper jammed because it is very difficult wash, clean and lubricate the zipper. I attempted to after each use. I believe the cause is the rubber that covers the actual zipper part. Currently it is in for a zipper replacement. ... show more

I purchased this product to use for keeping my venison quarters cool until I could get them home and de-bone the meat and take it to processing. This bag was awesome! I put one whole deer, in quarters, and also the trimmings and steaks cut out of the carcass. I put freezer gel packs into the bag...6 - 2 lb get packs...these kept the meat cold for over 3 days in around 35-40 degree weather. When I got home, the gel packs were still solid! I'm going to try and fit 2 full deer, 8 quarters and trimmings/steaks next year. If I don't think it will fit, I'll purchase another bag this size without any hesitation. I look forward to getting a smaller one for my smaller fish catch for use during the spring and summer fishing walleyes! I highly recommend using the included zipper lubricant right away...it makes a huge difference for sure. I waiting but will not the next time and I will keep it lubricated often as it just works much better when lubricated. ... show more

The product is something that I need and is built well except the zipper. The first time I used the cooler, the zipper was very difficult to operate but it worked. The second time the zipper immediately came apart, this is not helpful when trying to keep the fish cold.

I held off writing a review on this product until it had some trips on it. I can say that after nearly two full snapper seasons this is some of the best money I have spent on any accessory to make salt water trips better. We have abused this bag to no end and it has never let us down. Doesn't leak! The handles are strong and convenient for lifting or carrying. We consistently get 18 hours on 40lbs of ice with a lot of in / out. Mine is the 40L size and we had all 9 of the fish shown in the second picture in that bag and cold! We have found this is much more practical (saves a bunch of ice) than trying to fill the entire coffin box just to go snapper fishing! The only wish I have is that the pull tab on the zipper was bigger and you could hook a couple fingers in it. We end up pulling it closed with the fish grabber most of the time. Otherwise, this bag is a great value. Just ordered the 60L version yesterday for some of the larger species this fall! Hope to find that it is just as well made. ... show more

This very well-made bag did not disappoint. took the boat out for the day used frozen containers to cool drinks and some food in the bag. worked great and even better with rock cod and white fish later. Each time I unzipped the bag some the super cold air was impressive the fish was beautiful the next day when processed. This bag is strong can hold a large amount of whatever you need to cool. The drain plug leaked. The zipper didn't leak until the very end of the zipper when you zipped it up. The water came out like an open spout. The zipper didn't seal at the very end. I put 2 bags of ice in it in 70 deg during the day 50's at night most of the ice was gone after 24 hrs all of it was gone after 36 hrs. I am glad I tested it before putting fish in it. Last thing I want is fish water all thru my boat. Disappointed I really want to buy made in America. I would have been happy to pay 175.00 if it didn't leak. ... show more
