This sink is pretty, no doubt. I love how I can rinse veggies and cut them on the board and my counter remains clean. The rubber drying “rack” is great to keep things off your counter while drying. Negatives: it has nothing to do with the quality or design of the sink, but because it is sooo big (relative to a double bowl) food goes everywhere and I am constantly having to use a sponge to push it towards the drain. Hard to use the faucet to move food around as you can with a double bowl. Just something I am getting use to. Last but not least, I have never had a sink that scratches, but this one does. It is because it is “shiny” stainless as oppose to like a traditional satin finish. Again, looks pretty snd the scratches are at the bottom and no big deal for now, but I am only 45 days in! I hate using the rack that sits on the bottom (which does protect it by the way); it just makes it impossible to clean the food out of the sink. ... show more

This is a 50/50 low divide 16 gauge model with full accessories. The cutting board lives next to the sink where I can protect my new countertop from hot foods.. we use the roll up drainer as an extra drain shelf on top of one side with the dish drainer and colander sitting on top. Feels like we have more counter space but still the utility of a double sink. The baskets were too deep for our plumbing set up so we re-used the ones from our previous Elkay sink. Water does tend to pool up on the finish but a quick wipe with a microfiber cloth dries it nicely. Love it. ... show more

Had this for several months. Looks very nice and contemporary. Have to chase down the food since does not drain as efficiently as the bowl style sink we had before. We bought it thinking the accessories would be neat to have but frankly these are now lying in a corner unused, so make sure you really do need those extras before you pay the premium for them. ... show more

    • Damaged and Not Delivered "to room of my choice"

The sink arrived with 2 damaged/bent corners. A 3rd corner appears to have the beginning of a slight stress fracture. The sink does not appear to have been damaged in shipping. It may be a second. In order to keep the kitchen remodel on schedule, my contractor and I believe that the corners can be straighten/flattened sufficiently for the countertop to be properly seated. An adequate solution, but disappointing from a manufacturer like Elkay. Finally, I paid $100 for delivery to the "room of my choice." Instead it was delivered to my apartment building loading dock. I did not get a call saying it was about the be delivered so I did not meet the delivery person to direct him to my apartment even though I was at home waiting for the call. This package is extremely heavy. I had to get it from the loading dock to my apartment. ... show more

The sink is beautiful and well made, and all the accessories are great but it is really hard to clean. The drain is on the side of the sink and it is not slanted enough so the water and food particles don't drain and sit on the bottom of the sink. After every use I have to take out the rack in the bottom and wash the sink and make sure to get all the water out. We’ve had this sink installed in our new kitchen for several months. It’s very high quality and the accessories are well made. Like most large basin sinks of this style, it takes a little bit of maintenance. You will need to rinse it out, so install a faucet with a sprayer. If you want it spotless, you’ll have to wipe it dry (I don’t care about seeing a few spots). If you get a rust type spot from a pan, a little Bar Keepers Friend will take it off. I haven’t found that it scratches easily, it’s a pretty robust sink. Overall I’m very pleased with this sink. ... show more
