  • Great diag tool to have
Color: ILD-100H
Not a tool I use often but it comes in handy when I need it. I like the Elitech brand as I have multiple HVAC tools from them and this is another on in the arsenal. Seems to be pretty accurate for automotive applications. Has a low, med and high sensitivity which is good. The noise it makes when it detects a leak is audible and you will know. Works as it’s designed to work and I think it’s a good value. Just doesn’t work all the time. But it’s a tool you use along with other diagnostic methods. I.e UV light & dye, soap and water, or just simply charging the system and using the leak detector to pin point an area to use all those methods in unison. ... show more

  • This HVAC leak detector really works
Color: ILD-300
I have read other product reviews and found this has an exceptional product life (10 Yrs), and it works very well. Highly recommend.

  • Great sensitivity and easy
Color: Ild-200
Way better than my other current meter at picking up smaller leaks, at least for R410. And easy to use. And claims a 10 year life. Not tested that yet, but that would be great. Was an issue with my last sniffer that did not last more than a year or so it seemed.

  • Found the leak.
Color: Ild-200
Saved me thousands of $ :-) We had a tricky leak and the plumber wanted a leak detection company to find the leak … it would have been from $2500 and up. I found the leak with this gadget and replaced the pipe myself.

  • Great leak detector
Color: Ild-200
This refrigerant leak detector really works. I never trusted cordless detectors, but this one actually worked. First job that I used it, found a small leak on a weld joint. After that I was confident that with this tool I would be able to locate refrigerant leaks.

  • I'm impressed
Color: ILD-100H
I was skeptical because of the price but to my surprise I quickly found 2 leaks. I was surprised it was rechargeable, my only complaint would be the instructions are vague. It's pretty easy to use so the instructions were not a problem.
