  • Don’t think twice
Color: Premium Black Size: 3
I'm obsessed with my Elite GI! The fit is perfect, the material is super comfortable, and the design is sleek. It's lightweight and breathable, making it perfect for intense training sessions. The attention to detail is top-notch, and it's clear the designers are BJJ practitioners themselves. Worth every penny and more. 5 stars! ... show more

  • Great value for a sharp looking Gi
Color: Premium Gray Size: 3
Purchased for regular training. I am 5'10" and fluctuate between 185-190 lbs with a 34" waist. I typically wear an A2 in most other gi brands, but according to the size chart for the Elite, it said I should purchase a "3". Package came in 2 days with Amazon Prime delivery and was packaged well to avoid any damage. The fabric is a very light weight pearl weave and feels very tight, stitching is pretty robust, and is reinforced at the lapels. The fit is very slim around the trunk and a little tight around the shoulders; but sleeve length was appropriate my arm length and cuffs were at my wrist bones with arms extended out to the sides. Pants fit perfect and are made from a heavy-weight almost canvas type weave, but are surprisingly soft; plenty of belt loops in the front to prevent any of the annoying drawstring tangling/slippage. I wore it to class this morning and it performed well; very light weight and better range of motion than I was expecting, based on the initial slim-fit when I first tried it on. I will put into my gi rotation as I train 2-3 times a week and we'll see how it holds up to regular class after 6 months to a year. ... show more

  • Good value
Color: Premium Black Size: 5
For the price, the quality is great. If looking for a sub $100 gi, these or Sanabul gis are my recommendations. Both have amazing quality for the price. These ones from Elite Sports have a wider range of sizes, and I like that their jackets are pearl weave. I do prefer the pants if Sanabul though. Both brands have minimal shrinkage. Both a durable. Both are inexpensive without being cheap. I know Elite has had a history not great business practices, but it seems as though they have improved in this area. It's been a while since I last heard anything negative about that. ... show more

  • Elite BJJ Gi TESTED, TRIED, and TRIUMPHED.
Color: Premium Green Size: 5
I bought the Elite Sports BJJ Gi because of the price as well as the high number of positive reviews about their products. I have been training jiu-jitsu for only 4.5 years and have bought six gis in that time. I am a 51yr old, 265lbs, 6ft.3in blue belt bjj guy that is able to train about 4-6 classes over four days each week. This is my first Elite brand gi and I cannot say enough good things about it. FIRST of all, their online store was easy to navigate. SECONDLY, shipping was quick (two days) and packaged nice and secure, both the product and the shipping packaging. THIRD, the fit and sizing was just right for me. I know there is a sizing chart that you can check, but I just know the A5 is my size in all the different brands of gis I have. However, I always make sure I order from companies that offer free returns and exchanges for the correct size, so that’s never been an issue or worry for me. The pants (for my A5) were a great fit, my thighs were not busting the seams and were loose enough for me to move around, sprawl, squat, windmill, uchi-mata, butterfly, guard, etc. – all kinds of leg stuff that a tight fit would make me feel restricted. The A5 Elite gi pants are a good, strong, and well-sewn. As with most brands, Elite has plenty of drawstring length if you need to cut some off and tie a knot on the end. For this A5, I won’t have to do that. The top (for my A5) was also a great fit. The sleeve length was just right for me, the body length was right where I like it, and the flaps (whatever you call the part you close around your middle) were sized right so my wide girth of a belly didn’t keep it from closing. The shoulder and armpit area was not restrictive. My movements and mobility were fine while doing uchi-mata drills. I have another brand that likes to tighten up around my armpits and makes me feel like I am also fighting my gi as well as my opponent. I didn’t feel like I was fighting the fabric of the Elite A5. FOURTH, the breathability (for my A5) was incredibly impressive. I spent an afternoon of drilling, training, and rolling in our metal building bjj gym with no A/C and bay doors open for a fan to circulate. This July afternoon was hot (for me) at a Mississippi 104 heat index plus humidity. I’m not complaining, I’m just stating the fact that I didn’t test this in November. I wanted to see how the Elite compared to my other “summer” gi. The Elite breathed better than any of my other brands that markets itself as a hot-weather gi. Both are good, but the Elite definitely breathed better. Today’s training in the heat affirmed my choice of the Elite as well as it being the first brand out of my mouth to recommend to my friends. FINALLY, the price (for my A5) was better than any other brand I’ve bought. I have a 19yr old son who is also my height, strength, frame (but not weight), and level of bjj experience. I usually buy two of whatever bjj gear I get. I know that ELITE Sports has specials from time to time, and that helps, but even at regular price, it’s very affordable and appealing. BONUS. For what it’s worth, I have been talking about this gi to my bjj partners and when the day came to train, they knew it was to be put through the ringer. One incident that was funny was during our grip fighting, my opponent had my gi in his grips and paused (briefly) to comment, “Dude, that’s soft! That’s a good feeling gi.” That was a good distraction technique and he got the takedown. I love, love, love this gi. I wore it all day in our seminar and was as comfortable as I could be. Others were taking off their tops between sessions for a breather, but I kept mine on. Go get an ELITE Gi or two. You’ll be glad. • Elite white gi

The gi fits incredibly well. The material feels awesome and runs true to size. As a featherweight black belt it’s hard to find the perfect fit. This gi has great value, quality and looks awesome. I highly recommend it.
