My son has very skinny legs and finding the right fit for his ski boots was challenging. He was getting bruised from the constant banging and space between his shin and the boot. These inserts worked well, were not too bulky and stayed in place. Definitely worth buying.

After one day skiing with them, I felt a great difference in my ankles. I have high vol feet & narrow ankles. My custom boots tongue has worn out over 5 yrs. The inserts filled the gap great but will need fine tuning of buckles & exact position of inserts. Only complaint is the velcro dots are useless & I'll have to tape them in place.     • Only if reccomended by bootfitter, or casual skier

I would only reccomend these if A) they were reccomended to you by a professional bootfitter or B) you’re a casual skier, ie middle-aged cruiser, who prefers comfort over performance I’m an all-mountain high-performance skier who unfortunately has a decent amount of boot issues so I thought these might help. If you are a casual skier looking for comfort, these might help, but for me, they pushed me in the backseat too much— granted again, this was an endeavor on my own part, not the reccomendation of a bootfitter, which should be your priority. But for the cost, they are at least worth a shot for the person in pain! ... show more

This product was recommended by a PSIA lv3 coach to me. I don’t have shin pain but I have very slim legs and feet and don’t feel my boots as responsive as they should’ve been. I added the booster straps and it helped. These shin pads also helped. I feel that my cants are tighter and responding better to my movements. ... show more
