First my package was lost, when we finely got it about two weeks late mind you this was a birthday present for my five year old, there was a hole in the box found it was scratched up, but kiddo was excited to have a red bike, so we put it together the instructions were vage and hard to put together. the brake line was really loose and didn't work, so had to modify it so it would work, once all together realized that there is no way to coast must peddle at all times to move the bike and it's hard to peddle. My excited 5 year old is now frustrated more then excited and not sure he wants to ride it but says we need to keep it because it's his red bike so now have a crappy bike to fight my kiddo on 😞 very disappointed in the product as a full should of cancelled order once it was lost. ... show more

Instructions were useless but putting a bike together is pretty straightforward. The only problem I had was a nut was missing for the bolt for the seat. After they send me a second bike ( first one came with a lot of scratches) I put together and let me tell you this is a really a bad quality bike , the front fork didn't even make possible the right alignment between the wheel and the handle.bar . It came with a lot scratches from the transport. All the welding looks poorly made. Honestly just go to Walmart and for the same price you can get a more decent bike .Also all the bearings are full of some sort of sand or little metals, i have to take all apart clean the bearings and put new grease. ... show more

You get what you pay for. Yes, it's cheap, but what do you expect for this price? The instructions are HORRIBLE. The video tutorial posted on Amazon helps a little bit. I saw other reviews complaining about the brakes. Well -- YES -- the instructions and marketing photos on multiple versions of the bike have the brake pads all placed perpendicular to the ground. That's not how brake pads go on bikes. You need to turn them parallel to the ground so they grip the rim of the bike. The plastic discs with holes are only packaging. It looks like other people had tried to assemble them on the bike and were complaining that they broke. The product would be much improved with better assembly instructions and/or video. My grandson loved it. I don't expect it to last long enough to hand it down to his brother, but I think he's going to have some fun with it. ... show more

The size was great and the bike was cute for a 3 yr old. The assembly however was a no go according to the instruction they sent. I have never put a bike together. I had to YouTube how ta assemble breaks to the tires that were flat. Where and how to place reflectors and other little assessories had to also be YouTubed. I didn't even put the kick stand on, just assumed since training wheels were on it wasn't needed right now. I will never order a bike that's not put together. For anyone that's going to give this a try make sure there's air in the tire before you assemble brakes. You will stress less. The bike adjusted to her height for comfort. ... show more
