    • Really nice coat at an affordable price point
This coat is a very nice coat so far. I got a large (I wear medium usually) and it fits over a suit jacket perfectly (I wear a 38R jacket). I had hoped the ‘long’ jacket came to mid calf on me, and this comes to just below my knees. I’m 5’9” with a long trunk and short legs. It is a lighter in weight than my old cashmere coat, as well as less bulky, but I feel like the wind doesn’t cut through this one as much, so that’s a nice trade-off. I do feel that this coat is just a bit less wam than my cashmere one, but I still find it plenty warm under my suit jacket. The craftsmanship and materials seem pretty good, though on mine the buttons were not sewn very well and I intend to re-sew them (one is coming off already after a week). This isn’t a big deal to me, but I wanted to mention it. The coat is soft, while being stiff enough to hold a nice shape, which I really like. Overall I’m very pleased with this coat after a few weeks, and will update this review if any problem ever develops. ... show more

    • Very nice overcast, fit was perfect
This jacket far exceeded my expectations for the price. It fit as well as it could without bringing it to a tailor. If you plan on wearing this with a suit or jacket underneath, I’d definitely go up a size or two, but for throwing this over a sweater or collared shirt, the sizing was perfect. This does come from China, my tags were 100% in Chinese, and I was surprised to find that it didn’t have any strange odor out of the packaging like most of the clothes I’ve gotten from China had, so that’s a nice plus. I’m very pleased with this jacket, and the reason I took a star off was because: 1) the jacket had quite a few loose threads, although they cleaned up easily 2) the color is quite a bit darker than the pictured jacket (I actually prefer it, but I assume that would be annoying to someone wanting the lighter color) 3) the jacket said (thickened) in the description, but it seems fairly thin for an overcoat. Although it does do an okay job of keeping me pretty warm in the snow. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this overcoat for the price. I’d put it on par with some of the $125+ overcoats you’d find at Macy’s ... show more

    • This is a great coat.
I really like this coat. It has kept me warm through the worst Minnesota February on record. When I'm wearing it, my core doesn't get cold. At all. It is comfortable and fits great. Being wool it will keep warm and shed water if you get rained on, but it will also not be too hot if you wear it indoors. The pockets are nice, with plenty of storage. The hood is almost too big, that it obscures vision while driving. That is my only minor complaint. But by all means, buy this coat if you are thinking of it. ... show more

Cheap quality and thin, it’s a sad state of affairs when you can get a better quality coat from a thrift store at 1/4 the cost…. It’s over sized, and frankly, extremely embarrassing to receive at this price point when intended as a gift. Not only would I have to take it a dry cleaners first to get rid of the wrinkles as though it was carelessly thrown in the back of a closet for years and years, it doesn’t address that it’s size of a large is tailored to the size of giant… probably a mistake on my part to order a nice over coat online… it’s simply cheap and over priced… nice color, I’ll give it that much credit, but everything else is just lackluster, thank you for the several wasted anticipating quality, and the several more to get my money back over a mediocre product, and the huge disappointment that I can’t swap it out for a more reasonable size in a timely manner, thanks a lot… how fun…. ... show more

The product is okay. I can wear it and it helps keeping warm in winter. It fits comfortably for me. All that is because I was lucky. It's not actually what I ordered. I ordered a camel coat. But they will sell you anything they can without telling you what you're getting. I think it's 60% wool, not 80%. On the coat, it isn't clear. To me, this makes no difference. Unfortunately, you have to carry the hood around with you all the time whether you want it or not. I would have preferred a removable hood. But as I say, they don't want you to know about it until after you get it. They keep you up to date as to arrival time. It arrived in good time when expected. I'm satisfied with it, largely because I was lucky. You may not be so lucky. ... show more
