  • Wow!!
Color: Purple
I absolutely love this! First of all I have to say this replaces a bigger rollator I had. It was starting to show some wear. When I would go to Dr appointments, I would wear out if it was a long walk and needed a wheelchair at times. This fits the bill. QUALITY: This is well made and sturdy. Love the big wheels. You feel safe in using any part of it and is not clunky to use. FUNCTIONALITY: The wheelchair part has a comfortable seat and the foot rests securely stay out of the way when not needed. You set back further in the seat and this helps to prevent the seat from giving in the front as my other one did. You also don’t need to remove the bag to sit down in it since the bag is at the same level as the seat. This is easy to fold, light in weight and small enough to put in the trunk without having to adjust it. Big plus! I also like the ability to move the back brace quickly and easily. What would I change? Putting a rubber coating over the wheels to help the brakes grip better. This is a common issue with these types of devices. However, this is only a concern if going down steep hills. I just received this yesterday and will post an update if anything changes. Update: When I sat in the wheelchair, it was extremely hard to push. I called customer service and they asked me to send them a video. They responded promptly, told me the wheel bearing was bad and sent me a new wheel. However, customer service was less than nice about it; didn’t seem to care about the inconvenience or even apologize. ... show more

  • DANGEROUS!!!
Color: Purple
VERY DANGEROUS!!! The front wheels are too far back making it top very easily when someone sits in it. Within 30 seconds after assembling this we quickly experienced a near to over, so we are packing it back up and returning it. THIS SHOULD BE RECALLED!!! If safety is more a concern… Here ours the good and the bad Negatives Unsafe; high seat and front wheel location makes it tip easily (just reiterating) Storage Bag; sits a little higher than the seat and will cut into your legs behind the knees. Fixed seat height; it sits in the taller side so shorter people will have a more difficult time getting in and out of the seat. Slippery Wheels; Maybe it was just my flooring and it being new, but the wheels slid on my flooring when turning, so that may go away in time with use, but Maranda new the wheels don’t grip very well. Positives Sturdy frame; the frame feels very solid Color; my mother-in-law liked the purple color Easy Assembly; easy to put together and has a video qr code. I used the book which was rubbish and didn’t explain everything, but it was pretty straight forward Final verdict; assuming you are buying this for yourself or someone you love, not it’s not worth the safety risk. ... show more

  • Great walker but not a well designed wheelchair
Color: Green
This company was very responsive to my emails regarding the wheelchair malfunction my dad experienced. The walker works very well for my dad, but the wheelchair didn't work for his weight. The design of the wheelchair is flawed due to the weight of my dad (230 pds.) and the inability to place his weight in the appropriate part of the wheelchair. Instead of having majority of his weight on the back (larger) wheels, he was sitting more on top of the smaller wheels located in the front of the wheelchair. This caused the wheelchairs small wheels to lock up and not move when pushed. They refunded us part of the money and told us to keep the chair for the walker. Thank you for making this work for my dad, even if just for the walker. ... show more

  • A little tricky to use
Color: Purple
Got this so it would be easier for my husband to push me, but it really is still not as easy as the hospital wheelchairs. I also wish there was a fabric back as it isn’t easy to sit for long periods with just a back strap. Seat is just fabric as well, although I know they were trying to make it light. It is easier to use than a generic one, but for some reason the wheels seem to go wonky a lot. Still challenging to get in/out of the van. Color is yummy though. Assembly was easy. ... show more

  • The Good and the concerning
Color: Purple
I purchased this 2 in 1 Rollator Walker & Transport Chair for my aunt who is 89 years old. She lives in a Senior Citizen High Rise Apartment Building and needs to make trips to other floors in the building to do laundry, pick up her mail and or conduct her business at the business office. She has always been very independent and fortunately has been able to care for herself and be mobile enough to perform daily tasks. It was only within the past few weeks that she had mentioned to me that she is starting to feel a bit concerned at times about being unsteady on her feet in some areas of her travels. Let me mention that she lives in Pennsylvania. Anyone familiar with PA knows that wherever you go you are walking either up hill or down hill, even entering or exiting her apartment building - going up or down a ramp. My aunt did have back surgery years ago and did not want a walker that would cause her to constantly bend forward causing her back pain or altering her posture. She is also only 5'2"/5'3" tall and felt that the upright walker would be uncomfortable for her shoulders having to keep her arms up at that height continuously. After looking at the variable height adjustments on the handles on this walker and the height of the hand rests on an upright walker - there is only a 1" difference in the highest setting on this walker and the lowest setting on an upright walker so not enough of a difference to be concerned about - as well as after reading about upright walkers I have concluded that they may be hazardous to use on uneven, inclining or declining surfaces causing her to tip over. I therefore decided to try this product based on the the type of wheels, the weight of the product and the versatility. Here are a few of the pro's and con's that we have discovered. - This walker/rollator is a bit heavier (approx 3-5 lbs) heavier than others, but I feel that provides more stability for her when she is using it. (I believe the extra weight is the rubber 10" wheels). The down side of this would be that someone of my aunts size and ability would not be able to easily lift it into a vehicle. In my aunts case that does not matter as she does not drive any longer and would need someone else to transport her to wherever she is going and that person would be lifting the walker into a vehicle. Another Pro on this subject was the transport feature. When someone is picking her up to take her shopping or other places, the parking lot that person needs to park in is across the street from the building that she lives in. Therefore, the transport chair is very handy to move her from the building to the parking lot there or at her doctors offices parking lots into their office, etc. However, depending on the size of your vehicle - when trying to put the chair into the car it does take up a good deal of space leaving little room to transport other items such as groceries, etc. We happen to have a smaller size SUV and had to put the back seats down to accommodate the walker and other items that I wanted to take out to her (which was not many). With regard to the wheels, we found that that they appear to be quite durable and roll smoothly but a word of caution: They do stop on concrete when pressing the brakes, however if you are on a carpeted area or even a tile floor, when depressing the brakes the walker will continue to slide so be careful and mindful of that. Take it slow. As of the date of writing this review, my aunt has been using this for only a few days, but thus far I have not received any calls with complaints. Hopefully that will continue to be the case. By the way, she just loves the purple color! Says no one in her building has one like it. ... show more
