Im not sure if this case is worth the money they charge but i will say it looks awesome and feels awesome. Also this is the only case I ever owned where people actually commented on it while out in public. The top and bottom crowns can be hard to get on and off initially but they loosen up. The g10 side grips feel like you are holding a glock and it feels protected and substantial. also it comes with an awesome carry holster, the whole thing makes you feel like you are packing heat lol. ... show more

This is my third case from Element Case in just a short time they have gone from the best around to just another overpriced phone case. The first was a Sector Pro for iPhone 5 that I received comped for a review on a cycling gear review site. That first case was just outstanding only issue was I would lose the little keeper wedges once in a while when removing to clean the case and phone. I down hill mountain biked 3-4 days a week on double black diamond trails and worse at the time with the phone in my front pockets rarely did I add any extra protection. I crashed every so often and never damaged the phone plus it looked great without being bulky. Next I purchased a Sector Pro2 for a iPhone 6+ I liked the slim profile and fit as the 6+ being much larger than the 5 every little bit helps. I did experience problems with the top caps breaking at the corners as they just did not fit well not from dropping or anything like that. I emailed customer service and was replaced with some black ops tops and bottoms and all was well with no question asked after I explained how they were breaking some black ops tops and bottoms and all was well. Well got ride of the 6+ and got a 7 weird that everything I loved about the 6+ is what I hated kinda like my second ex. Now for the Black Ops 7 case is the third time a charm? Overall very well made case stylish, slim, tough I would like to see the finger grove around home button return as was on the Sector Pro I first had. The case did not come with a allen key to remove the quality metal clip. When I contacted customer support about it and what size of allen key I needed to get to do so never got a reply. The case also comes with a so called Mil Spec holster pouch that is far from Mil Spec I used it one day while traveling and did not survive without a critical injury. One of the loop straps broke off the area should be double stitched not single stitched in a higher stress area. I guess airline travel in the US is far more dangerous than a military op. I sent a warranty request to customer support I was asked for pictures of the case showing the damage and all other sides of the pouch. I received a reply that it looks undamaged and in perfect condition. I then called and got ahold of another agent supposedly a supervisor and she looked at the pics and said oh yes that is defective gave excuse that it is a new product and agents did not know much about it bla bla bla.... Finally said would send a replacement well its been 3 weeks and nothing yet and none of my follow up enquiries are being returned. Turns out Element was sold to another company with a far worst view of their customers. ... show more

I was hesitant buying this case because of some of the poor reviews. On the iPhone7+ I couldn't be happier. It is solidly built and provides the level of protection I need - which amounts to small drops or scuffs. The "red" buttons are a little funny looking in the sun. What this case is : a cool looking case with moderate protection made from high quality material. What it isn't: A heavy duty case that would withstand use from an "operator" or withstand constant abuse. With a price tag of $200 I would assume most people would try to keep this case nice. As long as you don't fool yourself into thinking this is some "tactical" hardware, you should love it. ... show more

For the price I was honestly expecting more. I've owned several element cases and those were mostly aluminum with a little plastic. This case is 90% plastic with two tiny aluminum accent rails. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid case especially paired with an Zagg Glass privacy screen protector (case friendly version only). But for the price I was expecting much more. The carrying case that comes with it is another story though. It is not the "rip cord" pouch! It is a very awkward pouch that is virtually useless for the phone. I found a use for it on my bugout bag but not for the phone. If you get this case I recommend spending the 10 bucks and picking up a ripcord pouch. ... show more

Awesome Black Ops Case!!! The case secures the phone very well, feels very solid, and is also lightweight. You can definitely feel the quality difference and craftmanship in this case from the rest of the cases on the market. I highly recommend this case for individuals looking for the best in construction and worth the money. I have yet to utilize the carrying case, which is included, but I didn't buy this for the package deal. The picture shows this side won’t stay clipped in and comes loose What better way to show your friends and everyone you’re cool military grade cell phone case with the made in China stamped right on the box! I went through to these cases both have the same problem, the top and bottom crowns connect through little plastic yes that’s right plastic clips that hold it together. It looks cool yes I’ll give it that but for $83 I was expecting nothing short of a kick ass cell phone case. The crowns or sometimes loose and don’t stay on. The manufacturer sure loves to stamp in big bold letters “designed in California”. But it’s Chinese made crap just like anything else so element please stop perpetrating a fraud. We’ll see how the second case goes but it’s not looking good I will probably end up sending it back. I’ll bet this isn’t even the case US Armed Forces prefers to use LOL. All the photographs of Marines and Army grounds in the field of battle sure do paint a rugged picture to the customer saying “this is the toughest cell phone case there is! Yea... Total BS Minus one star for plastic locking clips -2 stars for being made in China ... show more
