I tend to get really hot at night no matter how low I turn the AC down, so I was looking for a nice and thin cooling blanket. I really love the silky and smooth feeling of this blanket and it is cool to the touch. It is a little slippery when I try to make my bed, but it's not bad if there I use my flat sheet underneath. I've also used it inside of a thin duvet cover, but I do not recommend that as it defeats the purpose of the cooling fabric.     • No more night sweats, and it’s actually cool to the touch!
It works, and it’s the only one out of several “cooling” blankets I’ve purchased previously. My main purpose for buying was in hopes that I could finally wake up without being able to ring the sweat out of my clothes and sheets. I would be cold at night, wrap myself up, and wake up like I had been in a sauna all night. I haven’t woken up like that once using this blanket. What I didn’t expect was that it would actually be COOLING. If I turn the air on before I get in bed, this feels like ice! It stays cool too the touch even as it absorbs my heat. It’s almost silky, has just a little bit of weight to it. I recently stayed at a friends and had bundled up tight because I was chilly. I woke up just as I used to, soaking wet. I had almost forgot how it felt! I will always sleep with this, I adore it, truly. If night sweats are the regular for you, trust me this is worth a try, it’s been magic for me. This blanket surprised me completely in the best way possible! The first one I ordered was the light gray which is almost more of a taupe color but nicely neutral. I did not review immediately because I like to experience an item. My experience was amazingly positive! Kept me cool, honestly, all night. Washed perfectly in cold water and dried on low temp. It is so soft that I can’t imagine how I ever slept without this. Have since ordered the dark gray which is also a beautiful color and now ordering the blue for my son-in-law who is always hot. Wow! I didn’t think it was possible to find a blanket that would allow me to keep my feet covered. I run hot at all times so my legs and feet are usually uncovered with all blankets. This is the first blanket that I have both feet covered and am not overheating! Get it today!

I don't know how I survived summers in the desert before this blanket. It's definitely cool/cold to the touch. The only way I could see someone thinking it was warm, is if they rolled themselves up like a burrito with it. If you lay still and don't move, it doesn't feel as cold, but just normal movement during the night keeps refreshing the cool feel. Don't use a top sheet; this IS the top sheet. It's the only cover on my bed besides a bottom fitted sheet. Can't live without it! Nor can my cat. She even sleeps on top of me to be on it. I got the 59 x 79. Perfect for 1 person. ... show more

This doesn’t actually “cool” - it’s a normal kind of blanket with a silky “cooling” feel when you move around. Needless to say, I love it and my kids keep trying to steal it from me, so I’ll be buying more for other family members
