This was a birthday gift to myself. I’m not one to splurge on lamps but this lamp was hard to pass by. My living room has gray walls with pops of black and spa blue accents and this lamp with the black shade and crystals is the perfect piece to tie into my room and bring the elegant bling. It arrived in perfect condition with a certificate of authenticity regarding the crystals. However, the assembly wasn’t the fastest. You have to put the crystals on one by one and I employed my husband to help hang crystals, which was a first for him. The directions were easy to understand, the only complaint is the metal clips on the crystals that are like thin key ring clips. You have to stick a finger nail to separate the metal pieces in order to clip it onto the lamp. That took me a while to accomplish. Once it was done and on my table it was all worth it- instant elegance and beauty and I can’t be happier. I’ve always loved the shaded chandelier look and now I own it. I think this lamp is great, I have a total of 3 now-one being the floor lamp. They are an elegant glam;) Real breakable saucers and hanging pendants-not plastic. The shade is the only thing I wish was made with different metal but it is still great for the price. Yes, I did receive my first broken however it was replaced immediately and then my 3rd was broken as well, minor issues which can be fixed. Awaiting replacement-worth the wait. ... show more

I received in a huge box but I believe this was packaged this way to prevent damage to the product. Everything arrived unbroken, and all parts where included. I would like to mention though, when you unpack your lamp make sure to find the saucer plate part pieces which is in the corner pieces of the lamp box. I almost missed them and they are needed to attach the crystals to. For the price I invested, I did expect glass saucer plates to attach the crystals to because the crystals are glass and heavy for the plastic part pieces they attach to. Another thing is the links on the cascading crystal strands and crystals are similar to key chain links for keys. The lamp does not include light bulbs & assembles quickly. In my opinion even with all the cheap parts, I did end up keeping these because I could not find this type of design anywhere and I have been looking for a long time, even at high end lamp store to no avail never found a lamp that gives me this look for under this price point. So I gave it 4 stars for the cheap materials. Would I purchase it again, YES because it gave me the french boutique look I was craving for my bedroom. I do love leaving the lights on now, and had to find LED Bulbs :) ... show more

I cannot begin to describe how elegant and classy this lamp is. I’m redoing our bedroom and one of our two lamps arrived today. It was well packaged, and easy to assemble, you don’t need any instructions. I hope the second lamp is in superb condition when it arrives. I’m very happy with my purchase and the price was more economically satisfying than similar styles from other sites. If this is your style, I would not hesitate to purchase the lamps. I love them so much that I want to get others for the rest of my home but I don’t like everything to be the same. Now, I need to get bulbs. ... show more

Another reviewer said she returned this because it looked like it belonged in Dracula's house....and that's exactly why I bought it. :) It's very romantic Gothic Victorian, which is the aesthetic I was looking for. The shade is a weird length so I had to put it on upside down...the arms that hold the bulbs are crooked....and things overall just don't sit right; I feel it's way over priced for the quality. However, it's a very cool lamp so I don't regret the purchase. I used nightlight bulbs in mine, which gives a very dim light. Overall, I love it. ... show more

This lamp was to kinda sorta replace a heavier model similar lamp that I LOVED, but my daughter loved it and a new one was much more expensive than what I paid for it. These lamp was ere not for me when l returned it. When l saw them online l was excited but in person, l felt like the lamp belonged in Dracula's house lol... niece but to traditional. If you like traditionsl style with a touch of glam you should buy them, eventhough it was a no for me.

I was a little skeptical considering all the bad reviews, but this lamp was the exact look I wanted and for a great price. I was cautious when they arrived. I was careful assembling them. I was also careful unwrapping the shade. Which by the way did start to unravel, but I fixed with a glue gun. They did need a little tweeking, but they are fantastic! Everyone loves them!!
