This thing is truly great. I will warn that the box it came in was relatively heavy to lug up a bunch of stairs but here's how it went: 1. The packaging was actually impressively efficient. If the actual flat desktop wasn't large (bonus), the box could have been relatively small. 2. The instructions at times were a little vague, as with all furniture assembly, but I found that I assembled this desk completely in less than 45 minutes with small interruptions. 3. The power buttons on the side allow easy raising or lowering of the desk. It goes up pretty high and goes down pretty low. It isn't super-fast when raising or lowering, but I see the speed as a perfect amount. It allows for easy titration, so you don't "miss" the height setting you're looking for (it has a small LED screen to show the height of the desk) 4. 3 saveable/programmable buttons to save differing heights for either yourself or if the desk is shared. 5. It's remarkably proportional. I don't think it's too deep, nor too wide. It fit perfectly where we wanted it and has more than enough space. (could fit a large + tenkey keyboard 4x side by side without issue). 6. The hooks on the bottom of the flat top are a little funky. I don't really use them for anything, and I don't see a true purpose for them. However, they're not integral and are easy to remove if not wanted. Just simply unscrew them. Overall, this is a sturdy, large, inexpensive (doesn't feel cheap), adjustable desk. The edges aren't sharp, the top is a breeze to clean, and I wouldn't worry about this thing tipping over unless you wanted it to. I hope this lasts me for a long time because this has been a great addition to my office. ... show more

I bought a huge display case but didn’t really like to bottom. So I purchased this so if I wanted to move it to different place in our home I cold adjust the height. I was able to attached a cover around the edges and install lights to go into the case by using the power from the actual table. Everything is hidden underneath. The height works great. It seamen’s to be made well. During shipping one corner had done damage but the glass display case covers the entire top. Looks great and I’m glad I got it. First of all, one of the main reasons I ordered this particular desk was because it looked like the top was all one piece, it is not. It's 3 pieces that don't fit together seamlessly. I purposefully avoided other desks because it was more than one piece and I knew if there were any gaps it would drive me crazy, so yea the photos are not of this desk. It's not super sturdy but it goes up and down with no issues so far. I bought it so I could use a walking pad while I work and it works ok for that, it shakes quite a bit. I ordered a more expensive desk to replace this one as I'm just not happy with it. My MIL is thrilled that she'll get to use this for her sewing projects since it's easier for her to cut fabric while standing so it's not a total loss. If you plan on using this as a work desk I'd recommend spending more ti be a better quality desk if you can. If you can't then this one isn't awful. ... show more

Originally had issues setting the desk up and it was only working on one side but my man got it working. It was damaged in shipping so it has a chip missing on the top but I’m going to keep it because I don’t want this desk sitting in a landfill when I can repair it myself.
