I work outside year round. I wanted something to heat up soup or something like that. This will definitely work. I could probably make a grill cheese in this thing. Definitely a 5 stars item. Just take the silverware out of the lid holder when cooking. They will get very hot.

I bought this for my husband who is a field mechanic at a mine and spends all day in his service truck going from different pits [fixing things he said this has been the best lunch box and made things so easy. it come with a wall plug and a car plug which as well is nice so if he is inside, he can plug it in to the wall as well. I was worried that it wouldn't get hot enough or wouldn't work but he said it works great and that sometimes if he doesn't stir it. It will get to hot and then he has to wait for it to cool. I was very skeptical when I purchased two of these. My husband and I like to travel but it’s also something we wanted for work. The first time we used them was on a train ride to Santa Barbara. These heated our food so well, I actually had to wait 10 minutes because it was to hot, then again I left it plugged in for 1 hour. I loved it so much that I gifted my brother in laws one for Father’s Day! Definitely with the money, so convenient , and it comes with a carrier.
