    The remote with out battery and the manual instructions not telling what kind of battery for customers. The motor used only one time than it is dead.

    The winch is plenty strong but took some modifications by me to get to work correctly. Rope ran off winch roller and had to fabricate a guard to keep the rope on roller.

      • needs a fairlead to keep line on spool, don't bother it is still junk!

    line rides off spool on retrieve .had to add a fairlead to prevent it. Even with fairlead line constantly rides off spool costing valuable fishing time. Remote failed after 1 season but I do not miss it. The winch must be watched constantly to keep line on spool so even a working remote is functionally useless! I'm taking it off the boat . Its a waste of money and time. hand lining an anchor is more efficient. ... show more
