We bought the plastic cover to go over a tablecloth on on oval table on our covered outdoor patio—to protect it from the elements. We plan to remove it whenever we eat, but it's actually nice enough to leave on, if that's your choice. It is thin enough to drape nicely, but sturdy enough to hold up. I folded mine in half to double it. It is very thin and may not stand up to too many uses. Right now it is okay and serves it's purpose. Cleaning is easy, wrinkles are slowly coming out.

SIZE > I forgot what size I purchased (should be in the details when I submit this) but it was bigger than the size I wanted to buy, I am planning to get a bigger dining table in the future so that this could be useable then).
