Have been using daily for a little over a month now. It's no primo gaming mat but it's been more than decent for that. Fantastic for general use, especially given it's less than $20. My unit didn't come with any odor or physical imperfections. Looks like it does in the preview images, minus two things. For one, the colors have marginally less vibrancy. I had to look back and forth to make sure, but the blues definitely contrast a little less in-person. Were it not calibrated to a T, I would probably just blame my monitor - it's a negligible discrepancy. For two, the selvage sticks out less; doesn't have black threads as pictured, which happens to be a positive in my book but is a difference worth noting. I would buy this again. ... show more

This is a large format mouse pad that you place your keyboard and mouse on. It adds a nice cushy feel to your desk and helps to muffle sound, including your typing. The material is smooth with a very fine texture to it. It allows your mouse to glide effortlessly across its surface with out and stutters, skips or jumps of the cursor. The edges of the mat are finished with a nice stitch instead of just leaving it as a raw edge - I appreciate the detail there. The best part is the artwork that covers the entire mat. I got the one with Katsuhiko Hokusai's "Under the Great Wave off Kanagawa" on it. Is is surprisingly clear considering that the source material is from around 1830 and it is superimposed on the mat. I was a little concerned that the print quality wouldn't be that great but I am glad to report that had no need to worry. The quality of this desk mat is great. It lays perfectly flat, the stitching has held up very well, the print quality is much better than expected, and it has no lingering "smell." After letting it air out overnight, I came back to my desk the next day and it looked amazing! My only complaint is that it's covered by my keyboard and mouse! ... show more

Image is darker than pictured on Amazon, I have a mouse pad in the same pattern and it's lighter than my mat. But it works so I kept it, did not return. Pretty just a bit dark!
