There's definitely a learning curve on using this - and you have to apply polish for each nail...not a dealbreaker, by any means - but be prepared to spend a few evenings getting good at it. You have to kind of roll (from left to right) to get a regular line. If you just want the pointy look, like in the videos, it's easy enough - but for a regular French, again - learning curve. See edits and final rating at the end: Beginner stamper, using my most opaque normal nail polish (not stamping polish yet). First stampers I’ve ever bought and I was past the return window by the time I tried my purchase. At first, I couldn’t get them to pickup an image (I tried multiple times with different plates, pressures, pickup techniques, polishes, scraping angles, and Google). The initial stamper I used got chips on the sides of it after less than 10 uses. I’d only ever cleaned it with acetone and pure acetone polish removers and was very gentle with it. The squishy jelly didn’t want to stay in the stamping holder (it’s removable, I didn’t know that). The second stamper has the same issue but no chips (yet). I assumed the jelly was too soft from my research. All of my initial pickup “images” were blobs or partial blobs of polish. ONE STAR.* EDIT: ok, I got this to work! These stampers work with the following plate brands with the Ejiubas scraper: What’s Up, Born Pretty, KADS plates. The trick is the scraper! Use the more rounded side(s) not the sharp side(s). To summarize: stamper works, still delicate (chipping), scraper works (sort of, suggest using others). I used a straight squishing method for pickup/placement (not rolling, but it might work-I haven’t tried it yet). NOW THREE STARS *** Two deducted for scraper and chipping. THIRD EDIT: EJIUBAS has kindly sent me TWO additional sets of stampers and two plates as an unsolicited follow up (they wanted to rule out any defects in the product). They appear to be the same items as the ones I’d purchased (same scraper). The stampers appear to give a much cleaner image. FINAL RATING - FOUR STARS **** (one star deducted for scraper being “one sided” but functional and stamper still not working with Nicole Diary plates - may be an issue with ND plates so take that with a grain of salt). NOTE: NONE of these stampers work with Nicole Diary brand plates (too shallow, suggest firmer stamper). ... show more

I was super excited to find something to do french manicure. I had an issue at the beginning because the polish wouldn't stick. I tried to do some research to figure out why, turns out that you have to prepare the stamper. I had to use a nail file to ruff up the jelly and then the polish sticker. There should be some direction about how to prepare the jelly to make it work. After I figured that out I was on my way. Super happy with the results ... show more

French tips look so easy to do in videos but on yourself it’s a lot more difficult at first. You have to do the right angle otherwise you’ll come out with blobs or messiness. Don’t blame the product for user error, practice over & over until you get the perfeft line that you’re looking for. As you can see in my picture I didn’t really get it right until the last few nails so really take your time to get adjusted to how you want it before you give up. Definitely recommend this product, great value for the price especially since it comes with 2 extra jelly pieces. Cleans very easily with alcohol & my tips were able to get pretty far in without damaging the jelly. ... show more
