This is better than some of the other inexpensive "famiclone" devices because the provided micro-SD has a better variety of games. The other reviewer mentioned when he added games they did not work. I added some and about 50% worked, but it comes with many good games anyway. It has a better variety than most 400 or 500 in one type systems. The media could not be loaded. My son is 6, I do not play games. I did not feel fine with spending a lot of money on a newer one for his first game, especially since it is not a special occasion and more for homework incentive untill his birthday or Christmas. To know he will take care of it and also be responsible around the house. He's loving it. No mario, but he was happy there was a game just like Mario. And he will appreciate it more when he does get mario. I hope. It came with a battery and charger and hook ups for the TV. Idk how but also didn't try with the TV. Eventually though. There are instructions. He loves it. He is happy with it. I am happy and great full for it. Lots of games. No internet so he wont get in trouble for "accidently" being on YouTube. He is entertained the whole time. There were 158 games for one choice, not sure how many are in the other... 200something got distracted because I did see mario and Galaga and donkey Kong. However, they load, but never start, so if that's what you're looking for, so sorry. Or maybe let me know how, because I'm lost. If occupying, teaching responsibility with an incentive for a younger child to work his way up to a game system he deserves, this $10 game is work it. ... show more
