This product is absolutely necessary. What I was using before is no comparison to this. I have natural hair and I only apply heat once every six or seven months. My irons get really hot and I can place them on the mat and not worry about them burning through it. It is really soft, it doesn’t have an odor. It’s not too heavy or light. You simply put it down, and it is ready to use. I don’t know if it helps with frizz or not. It could be my heat protectant, but I did notice less frizziness, 🤷🏽♀️. Love the colors and that it's made of silicone. My last pouch was an insulated one. The inner insulation eventually fell apart and the black PVC material had melted on the hot plates. Fits my 11 inch flat iron comfortably.

These are perfect for my hairstyling products. They fit strainers and curling irons quite easily. They also do a good job of protecting the other items in you luggage. I use this when I do my hair. I lay my 450 degree hot comb directly on the pad and it doesn't burn. I also store my hot tools in the sleeve once I'm done and it upholds fine. Very light weight but durable.
