I was really excited when I saw this. I purchased a new keyboard and it's a 96% layout. It's by far my favorite keyboard because it has a knob that is super convenient for controlling media content without affecting meetings (I can press the know and mute the music, but still answer a call and it not be muted). However, for some strange reason, this keyboard decided to leave off the Home and End keys. Keys which you don't typically miss unless you need them, which I do. So, I got this and plugged it up, downloaded the software, and started playing with it. I was able to successfully program all the buttons and even program multiple functions to each button, BUT I was never able to switch between layers to access functions 4-9. You're supposed to be able to press the connect button to toggle between layer 1, layer 2, and layer 3. I tried everything, but nothing worked. I only have 3 programmable buttons on mine. Which works... The blue clicky keys that came on this thing are insanely annoying. Probably because I'm a brown or cream switch kind of guy. I switched them out and added some custom keycaps as well. My first button runs a macro I use regularly and has drastically increased my workflow speed. Overall, I like it, even with 1/3 of the functionality it was supposed to offer. ... show more

I was excited for this mini keyboard as it’s nice to have a mechanical and tactile button selector for various functions. The mechanical clicky blue switches are satisfying if you enjoy that type of switch, and the overall aesthetic of this little switch is compact and simple. My biggest issue is with the software. So far I’ve only been able to program one button successfully and that’s mute. I can’t seem to get any others to work. Also the lighting is rather annoying as there’s no static lighting option. One of the three colors just blinks continuously. If the software receives an update and makes some small tweaks than this is a nice little addition for any pc user who likes added functionality. ... show more

THE GOOD: --------------- * Mechanical buttons are very tactile, feels nice. * Colorful red, blue and green lights when click the buttons depending on your setting. * USB-C port, and not the antiquated micro-usb. * USB-C cable provided is very nice, braided type material, easy to maneuver. * Software you'll need to download is footswitch.pcsensor.com. THE BAD: ------------- * Software has a lot going, there will be a learning curve. * I uploaded a screenshot showing the software. Notice row #1: Open calculator, Vol+, Vol-. Those are the three functions I've programmed into these three buttons. However, why is there a row #2, and row #3? This makes it seem like I can have more functions. Like I can have 9 total functions for these 3 buttons, but there isn't any button on the keyboard to switch groups. Long press, short press, I've tried it all. Nothing in the manual talks about this either. Oh well, for now it's 4-Stars. * UPDATE: After talking to customer service, it turns out the the manual was wrong, the correct software to download is the elfkey software for windows, not footswitch. Go to pcsensor.com/download, and you'll see all your choices. With this software, I was able to program 9 functions (3 groups) for the 3 buttons, all you have to do is press the little "connect" button on the unit to toggle between the groups. The groups are led color coded. When you press connect, the led will light up, RED means group 1, GREEN group 2, and Blue group 3. ... show more

It does more than what I thought it could. The software is pretty powerful and let's you assign all sorts of combos and macros. The board itself is pretty cheap feeling. I hate the switches and need to take apart the casing to see if they are hotswap. I doubt it though. It's so light that it slides all around and does not stay put. It's good though, it is just that it could be better. ... show more

    • Small But Mighty Mechanical Keyboard
I recently switched to a smaller mechanical keyboard. Unfortunately, it is missing one of my favorite keys: Print Screen. This little 3-Key Mini Mechanical Keyboard helps me. I am able to program one of the keys to respond as the Print Screen key. You can download the companion software, ElfKey to program the keyboard. Unlike some other support programs I have seen, ElfKey is user friendly and the user interface looks professionally finished. Other things you can do with the keys is set them up to type text or use macros, which can do multiple tasks. The keyboard seems well constructed. It attaches to your computer via a USB A to USB C cable. It also has backlights which can be turned on or off using a small switch on the keyboard. The keyboard has two USB C ports so you can choose whether to connect the cable to the back or the side of the keyboard. There is a switch on the back of the keyboard that lets you switch among three key sets. This means The keys can act as three different keyboards, which I think is kind of cool. The additional two key sets can be configured through the ElfKey software. The keyboard backlight will change color depending on which key set you are using. While currently I am only using the keyboard to add some basic keys to my setup, I look forward to developing other uses of this keyboard to assist in my day to day tasks. ... show more

    • Great for macros
This has been great for creating custom macros when working. You have to download the correct software to program the keys and it comes with a toggle to switch between different hotkey sets. So far this has been working wonders for timesaving tasks.

This 3 button keyboard is great for programming actions to it, like for discord or streaming, I also like that it's a blue switch so it feels satisfying to click
