The media could not be loaded. Hatched four little chicks. I put another thermometer gauge in there to measure humidity too. there was one time it got 2 degrees hotter than what the incubator said. Also no humidity indicator but if you use the bottle with the block given mine stayed around 60%. But I had to buy a separate humidity gauge. Also have to make sure the water bottle is flowing sometimes I had to tap it like there was a water seal or something. Auto turns. And keeps temp steady. Worked well. ... show more

This is a very simple incubator but it holds its temp very good. I had it in a room that was around 70f and it still held 100 degrees even without the foam on it. The egg holder easily lifts out for the last few days of incubating. You will need your own way to monitor humidity as this does not come with one. I like how small this is. It really does not take up much space. Its so easy to use and there really is not much to fuss with. ... show more

I’ve been using the incubator for a while now and The temperature has been consistent, but also inconsistent at times! The plastic is cheap and it already cracked.

    • Nice compact machine
I have quite a variety of incubators at this point, but it's always fun to find one that fills a certain niche. A few features of this one stand out. First, it came to temperature quickly and remains very stable even without the styrofoam, though I will put the styrofoam on now that I've noted that. My barnyard mix eggs are developing on track and I'm interested to see the final hatch rate. Second, I actually like the little handheld candler that came with it- it only needed one battery, which I had on hand, and while it isn't the brightest ever, it's bright enough. I can even candle my blue eggs with it. After dropping eggs more than once trying to use the built in candlers on my other bators, this is great, as I don't even have to take the eggs out to check them. Finally, I love the efficient use of space in it. It's small and compact while fitting the maximum eggs, just what I was looking for. So far, I'm liking this little machine. I only wish it came with a quail size rack too ... show more
