  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Threads made of metal?
The threads look and feel like metal, while other parts are plastic. I used these buttons to upgrade my X-Arcade Tankstick. We had to build a 12 volt (see update) wiring harness; otherwise the new buttons and micro switches are direct one to one replacements for the stock buttons on my X-Arcade Tankstick. All buttons make a loud click when depressed and appear to be better quality than the stock buttons. UPDATE: The leds were running too bright so we reduced the voltage down to just 5 volts dc. • 4.0 out of 5 stars Plastic - but no issues
I used several of these for switches on my Virtual Pinball Machine. They are plastic, and probably won't survive a hard hit with something solid, but I have had no issues with any of the 4 that have been used on my machine for over 6 months now.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Tough finding wire harnesses that match these button connections.
The connections to these button switches and led connections are strange. None of my connections fit perfectly. I emailed the owner to see if he had quick connect and disconnect wire harnesses that fit these buttons but still waiting for the answer on what size wire harnesses to we need . The buttons themselves are slightly smaller then normal buttons. If your using these on a 1up arcade mod or legends ultimate mod they won’t fill the hole completely. These do fit perfectly if you wanted to change the buttons ona X-Arcade tank stick. However the quality of hardware on the tank stick is probably better off being left alone . ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Good LED buttons for the price.
My only complaint about these is they are a little loud. Other than that, they look nice and work great. These also come with spare switches and bulbs which is nice. Very easy to install and they secure tightly to the deck. The LED connectors are an odd size (had to search hard to find the right wire kit to hook them up). I am not sure about durability on these but I'll give them some time. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Great replacement buttons
I used these to swap out some buttons in my X-arcade Tankstick. Perfect. They look and work great. They feel and play great. The convex shape is great for shmups. I had to make and add a wiring harness to get 5V power to the LED portions, but unlit they're one-to-one replacements for the stock arcade buttons. In the photo my camera did something funky with the lighting, but you can see I swapped out four of the eight buttons per side with the LED buttons (to make a Tankstick similar to a NEO GEO control panel). ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Great product for my arcade
I needed a couple extra buttons for my arcade console. Luckily they had extras of the same switch buttons that came with the original purchase. My console has 22 buttons on it. So I have extra now in case any of the plastic breaks or LEDs burn out.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Backlit, and they work well
The click is audible, and the button is backlit. Good quality in my opinion.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly as described. Good quality.
LED brightness depends on the limiting resistor you supply. 5 milliamps seems plenty for a well lit room.
