These are a nice crisp white and look nice in contrast to the lawn and flowers on the opposite side. They simply slide into one another and don’t require any glue or tools to assemble very simple. I did not break any during assembly. The thickness reminds me of some of my higher quality plastic storage crates. The connection pieces are definitely a lot thicker and reinforced. The scalloped design adds a little flair to it. They do have some flexibility to them but are not super easy to bend. But because the connection points are so strong I was able to create a circle out of as little as 4 pieces. Surprisingly it hold with all that tension. If I connect all of these together it equals up to 10 1/3 ft in length. I can get a nice circular flower bed around a like a flag pole small tree or even place around a curved walkway. I’m able to push these down into the ground without much difficulty. However, I would definitely suggest that you have a garden tool so that you don’t crack any of these and make more work for yourself. These can even be personalized with vinyl and put your house number on them. They take marker and vinyl very well. And when my landscape lighting hits them at night they still are eye-popping from the street. ... show more

If you are looking for a and affordable, basic, "fence" for a small garden area, then you will be happy with this item. Personally, I feel that this item is more appropriate to be a border or something that separates different styles of plants or vegetables but as a fence in and of itself, you might be a little disappointed It was easy to put together out of the box, but when it came to installing it in the ground. That's where I ended up with a lot of problems. The bottoms of the item are not sharp enough to go into the ground. Add a very sturdy level. It took a lot of fussing with to get this item to stay in the ground and it often comes out of the ground only to need readjustment. Thankfully, I only needed a very small area fenced or else I would have returned the item and tried a different style. ... show more

I bought these to surround an existing garden. I have used those black pound in flexible edging borders a thousand time, this time I wanted white. These things aren't even close to those. These are cheap thin plastic with shallow spiky edges that barely break the ground, I had to use garden staples to keep them sturdy. I am so mad I bought this crap. When i placed my first order for garden edging border, i absolutely loved the product around my flower garden. I loved it so much that I had a thought one night. I have alot of holes caused by weed eater in the underpinning of my mobile home. Didn’t want to pay the cost of new underpinning and I thought this garden edging border would solve my problem. It's alright, theres no way to stake it into the ground you really just have to rubber mallet the entire thing into the ground and hope that does the job, but you lose an inch or more in height. Kind of a silly, cheap design. Very thin plastic, I have a feeling this wont last more than a couple years. Glad I had a 30% coupon otherwise I would have returned. ... show more
