  • Unique toy
This is such a fun and unique toy! It definitely encourages exploration and curiosity through play! It’s great quality and easy for my 4 year old to use! The magnifying glass works well enough for my 4 year old to see a difference.

  • My son is obsessed!
My son loves this thing filling it up with rocks looking at the rocks through the binoculars carrying it around it's great. The reason I'm going for four stars instead of five is because the little viewing window where the rocks are stored popped out on the first use. Other than that it seems like it is built pretty well and with a bit of super glue I'm sure it will survive the test of time, but now I got to go buy super glue. 🤷♀️ ... show more

  • Rock - Noculars
Purchased for the grandson who is obsessed with stones. This has a compartment for collecting (and its not overly large … so sometimes he has to make choices, keep one, and allow one to stay in nature). … and the examination scope is fun!!

  • Don't get a sharp image
I understand that this is a kid's toy, and our 4-year-old was and is interested in it. I think we will be able to bring it on hikes and to the beach and he will be interested in collecting and looking at rocks because of it. Those are all good things. And it is not super-expensive or anything. What I don't like about it is that the lenses don't really do anything. So, what you're getting is a big chunk of plastic that can open up on the top for rocks to fit in for viewing and open up on the bottom for storage. It's a cool idea and a nice enough design. The colors are nice, and while the plastic isn't the most robust available, it isn't the flimsiest, either. I just feel like a little bucket and a magnifying glass would do the same job only better. Not as cool or attractive to a kid but practically better. The bottom line is that this can be a fun way to introduce a child to rock collecting and even geology, but you're really not getting any enhanced detail through the little plastic lenses, so I think the interest will stay on the surface and/or be very short-lived. ... show more

  • Little rock lover great gift
My little rock lover is 3 years old and loves this, it holds all his small rocks, the viewer window is perfect for him to see the rocks closer. The handle makes it easy to take this on walks with us. Very cute gift for a collector of small rocks. It is all plastic but seems sturdy enough. Would buy this again! ... show more

  • Easy to use
We recently purchased the Kids Rock Microscope, and it has been a fantastic addition to our family’s learning tools. The microscope is well-made and easy for children to use, sparking their curiosity and encouraging hands-on learning. The clarity of the magnification is impressive, allowing for detailed exploration of rocks, plants, and other specimens. My kids are thoroughly engaged and excited to discover the microscopic world around them. I highly recommend the Kids Rock Microscope for any family looking to inspire a love of science in their children! ... show more

  • Very little magnification
This is not a good toy. It has very little magnification and is difficult for a 4 year old to hold it correctly. I will be asking if I can return it.
