We got these for my son for his 2nd birthday and he loves them. He wears them around all the time and loves looking for deer out the window (we live in a very rural area.) I should preface that they don’t necessarily work well as far as binoculars go, but our son is able to easily look through them and see through to the other side and loves them. I bought these Kidnoculars for my 4-year-old son who loves exploring nature and animals. He was so excited to try them out and he was amazed by how much he could see with them. He said he felt like a real explorer and he spent hours looking at birds, bugs, flowers, and trees. He even used them to watch the moon at night. These are 5 star binoculars for what they are - Basic, lightweight, sturdy, easy to use. These are 2x magnification and focus free. Don't buy these expecting anything more. They're fine for toddlers and little kids. They have a nice soft rubber viewfinder that makes them very easy to use. They have some rubber grip on the body so it's easy for little hands to hold on to them. Also comes with a break way cord to wear around their necks that breaks away in 2 spots so they're plenty safe Overall great value for the money but just remember, you get what you pay for. These are designed for little kids, I'd probably even call them toy binoculars based on the low magnification. But they're a great pair of first binoculars for my almost 3 yo. ... show more

Great buy for the price. We’ve had some binoculars that came out of a couple camping and outdoor play sets. They were basically plastic lens. This one actually magnifies and also where you put your face it’s very wide and broad so it’s not a concern when the little ones like to poke their eyes like the old ones we’ve had.
