I absolutely love these headphones. I would buy them again if ever needed to. They are super comfortable. The quality is great. The buttons are easy. They fit both my head and my boyfriend's head if they need to. The noise canceling effect on these are great. I am able to focus and do school work when I need it to be the ambient sound. For the most part. It still is noise canceling but you can hear things around you when you need to. The music quality on this is great. I use this for Spotify even listening to my lecture videos all of that and I absolutely love these. They fit great. They look amazing and I definitely recommend this product after having them for only a few weeks I have only had to charge them once. I don't use them on a daily basis so that's why I don't have to charge them as much. Charging is quick and simple and easy. I think it takes maybe less than an hour to get a full charge on them. I love these headphones. I have had A Lot of headphones and the W820NB Plus headphones sound great, noise canceling works and sounds better than some of my other headphones. Passthrough sounds great too. I use it a lot during my day to day so I can listen to my music but when someone talks to me I have no problem hearing them. Actually trips up some of the people I talk to. Battery life is super great. I love headphones that have over 24hrs of battery life nothing more annoying than wanting to listen to some music and your headphones are out of power. This Baby Blue Beauty has 2 days worth of power. I have been charging it every 5 to 7 days when I remember. So far I haven't had it die on me yet. LDAc took a bit to get working. On my Samsung Note 20 Ultra I either have to install the Edifier app to get into all the bells and whistles and to switch onto Ldac mode or I can go into my Bluetooth settings for the headphones and turn on Ldac. Great for my 24bit flac files. The W820NB Plus headphones are my new daily driver. I have been using them since I bought them a few months ago and I have not had any issues with the headphones physically. They have been super comfy and haven't had any problems with wearing em for way longer than is probably healthy. Oh and they are easy to clean. The baby blue finish hasn't chipped or scraped off these past few months and the color is always an eye catcher out in the wild. Super Kool Cans. ... show more

I received these in September and have used them every day for the last three months for audiobooks. Pros: Noise cancellation is good. I can still hear loud noises, but it really drowns out the outside sounds for me. Audio is clean and crisp. Have had very few hiccups with audiobooks glitching. Very long battery life. And quick charge. Comfortable fit over ears. I have worn them for hours with no issues. Mic works fine when I’m on phone calls, or need to send voice messages. Paired just fine to my phone. I saw some reviews saying they needed an app in order to pair, but mine work just fine. Cons: No way to check battery life before the announcement. (I’m seeing reviews that I might need an app?) On/off/pause button it’s not the quickest to find when I need to pause quickly. They don’t collapse down for easy storage, but they do lay flat which protects the padding and speakers. My texts and alerts do not come through the headphones like they did with my earbuds, but that’s also kind of a pro. Ambient sound mode doesn’t always let enough sound in, but I can hear my surroundings well enough when I’m out in public/taking dogs for a walk. When on a phone call it automatically puts it into noise cancellation mode and you can’t put it into ambient noise mode, which is annoying. All in all, it’s a good product. ... show more

    • Needs PC reboot while plugged in, Windows 11, for wired. Fantastic otherwise, SBC for lowest latency

So first and foremost an important workaround!; -I know I had this issue and I was looking through reviews. The USB-C audio works fine, but to make it work the first time, at least on Windows 11, you need to reboot the computer with them plugged in. Once Windows 11 starts up from scratch (full reboot not sleep mode) the USB-C audio will then work as expected. It's very good, actually. I haven't tried it on my android phone, but I will edit this if a solution is needed for the latest android. For sound? The sound is very good to be honest. It's up there with my Soundpeats Engine4, Soundcore Space One, and a handful of others in my collection. It'll never fit the position of my Grado's, though it's not designed to as it's closed back. For noise cancelling I have a Honeywell fan running next to me at full blast. There's some wind distortion if it hits the mic directly, but otherwise I can just barely hear the fan running and don't hear the house circulation fan. While I haven't been able to test it on a plane just yet this is a good sign. For bluetooth latency with gaming mode... You can expect a mixed bag DEPENDING on the codec you use. With LDAC it definitely reduces the latency a lot. However, you'll still notice a smidgen of it. (say drag over an icon in FFXIV you'll have a much smaller than normal, but still present, delay). Much better than most bluetooth but not the best. THAT SAID if you want true low latency with these use the SBC codec. When using SBC and game mode, on or off, the latency becomes almost entirely a non issue in FFXIV with sound on hover. Thankfully it has a bitpool of 51 so it supports SBC XQ if your phone image has that or PC if you use alternate a2dp driver to use dual channel and bitpool 47 with sbc on windows. With SBC at normal or SBC XQ the latency goes from barely noticeable with game mode off to invisible for me in ff14 with game mode on. I could really play it with either at that point. So don't be afraid to set LDAC to high quality mode and just swap to SBC when the latency really REALLY matters. The SBC seems to connect in high quality mode as well (something I didn't see in the Soundpeats Space which...for some reason...connected at low SBC quality bitrates). So you won't have horrific sound degradation. Wired operation: If I didn't bet my left cheek it was Windows 11's fault I would've chucked a star off. But to use it wired you have to use the USB cable. Personally I'm liking USB-C headphones as they charge, provide a bit of amplification yada yada. But on Windows 11 you will need to reboot the PC while they're plugged in for wired mode to work. My guess is this detects it's not just a device to charge during the boot sequence. Plugging them in without doing so just puts them into charge mode which turns the ANC on but not much else. ... show more
