This diagnostic OBD reader is pretty cool and has some great features. I like that it can track live data and then analyze that data. It then prints a pdf report of all the analyzed data in an easy to read format. The only downside is that it requires a monthly subscription for some of the features which I just can't justify spending $15 or more a month on. ... show more

I was looking for an ELM 327 compatible OBD bluetooth tool. In my ignorance I thought all bluetooth scanners were mostly compatible with each other. I wasn't willing to add the proprietary app to my phone for this one.

    • Didn’t find this device very user friendly for a DIYer
I connected to two vehicles. The instructions and how to access features are lacking. I did connect to my Fiat 500e (BEV) and it appeared to know what it was connected to. However 3 of 4 faults didn’t make any sense and don’t seem to follow typical format I found online. I connected to another FCA product with known stored codes, I was only able to view 1 of them in freeze frame. This may be operator issues but there is no detail instructions. The reader has an auto feature but wouldn’t work on either of my vehicles. I didn’t attempt to reset any codes as I was concerned about issues using this kind of device on the electric vehicle and the other is being serviced with an ongoing issue. ... show more

I feel this OBD2 scanner is not the best for the money. They literally have features inside their app that are $20 dollars each. Not worth it and kinda complicated to understand the app

I was looking forward to this but this is one confusing OBD to use. I have had other similar OBD's and I have the high end one that cost in the hundreds and I'm tech savvy, so I know how to use these things. I couldnt figure out what was being done to the car. So much so that even after it finished scanning my car began to give an irregular idle. I tried it a couple times and the same thing kept happening. At that point I decided to put it aside and not risk messing up my car. Not impressed at all ... show more
