Overall, I've decided that it is best suited for maintenance upkeep for mopping purposes. It does not work well on a sticky spot or heavily soiled area so to speak. It is not 100% lightweight to me. However, it does come w/ its own cleaning solution which only requires a small amount. The solution itself has 0 scent in my opinion. I don't really like that because I love the smell of a clean floor but understand others are sensitive to scents and may prefer it. I used it on my hardwoods and laminate floors and it worked good on both surfaces. You do need to have it run the self clean when all done and rinse out the dirty water tank as well. It leaves a very light layer of water and dries within minutes. The docking station is nice because it prevents it from leaking water on the floor once you turn it off. ... show more

    • Boy did it get a lot of crud off our floors
Easy to assemble, light and maneuverable, and held up well to some hard use. The first time using this, I had to stop and clean it out many times. That's not the fault of the machine, but of our floors, which we had kept clean with a vacuum but no mopping. Our floors look a lot cleaner now, and the amount of hair and dirt this machine got up is remarkable. I often had the flashing red light, apparently it flashes five times, meaning there is so much crud around the brush that things are blocked. So I just take the brush off, scoop all the crud out of the channel with a finger, put it back together and it's good again. Of course the dirty water container was getting very dirty too, but this is on top of that problem, because of hair and other stringy stuff that the vacuum never picked up. This is not to say that such cleanliness is essential. We raised a family with that grime on the floors, and the kids turned out OK if I say so myself. But now we have this tool, and so we'll probably keep things cleaner. The instructions don't mention it, but included in the box is a bottle of "William weir FLOOR CLEANER" liquid. Caps exactly as I wrote them. The instructions on the bottle are to mix it 1:100 with the water in the clean water tank, so just a splash of it. The ingredients list is unrevealing. "Surfactant, decontamination factor, purified water, etc." Anionic or nonionic surfactant? Decontamination factor?? (if it's like the tablets, might be a molecule with nitrogen and 4 oxygens, that releases those oxygens to kill any bacteria or other unwanted life forms) And "etc."? Anyway it worked pretty well. And tablets to add to the water, which probably do about the same thing, are easy to buy. ... show more

    • Took 3 days to clean 3 rooms, returned
I like the product, easy to put together cleans well but the battery is too weak. I would say my bottom floor is tiled and is approximately 900 ft. Not a large area, but the battery couldn’t handle it. Returning it, another problem, no way to get the handle off after it’s on, we even took screws out. No one to talk to no release latch, no instructions, no US phone number. Just saying, it’s a problem if you want to return. ... show more

    • Simple, intuitive, easy to use light mop/vacuum combination
This mop/vacuum requires some mild assembly on arrival but it is mostly intuitive. The handle snaps into place, and you get a charging station that plugs into the wall. This is a small vacuum cleaner, which (1) makes it light and easy to handle but (2) requires more frequent cleaning of the collection tank. Regardless, I found this to be simple to use and perfect for light cleaning of your floors. You can use it just as a vacuum cleaner if you choose and it does a great job simply as a cordless vacuum. To mop, you fill the upper tank with clean water and some of the included cleaning solution. This clean water tank holds maybe three cups of liquid. You screw this into the top of the unit and when you turn on the machine, the liquid gets transferred to the roller mop which then scrubs your floor; the dirty water is sucked up and deposited into a separate tank. I found it great for light cleaning but for some tough stains you'll still have to apply elbow grease using your own elbows. It definitely picked up a lot of dirt, however, and seeing how dark the dirty water was that I poured out made me realize how dirty my floors have become. It is cordless and the manufacturer says let it charge up for a few hours before use but even with just an hour of charging it had plenty of power and I was able to scrub my entire kitchen and hallway without noticing any reduction of motor speed. Once on the charging station you can press the "self clean" button and it cleans itself. I can see that at some point the roller mop may need to be replaced and I'm slightly worried about how to do that but for now, I'm very pleased with the performance of this combination vacuum and mop. ... show more

Great product. However, the plastic canister that the cleaner/water goes into broke and the manufacturer has been sold out of that part for months. I haven’t been able to find anyone else who carries it. I ended up replacing the entire vac/mop with something similar from another brand because I couldn’t wait. Kind of sucks because this is a really great vacuum mop. I still have it 3 stars because it’s a great product. I just don’t have a way of using it anymore and it doesn’t seem like they’ll ever have that part in stock which makes the product worthless cause it can’t be used. ... show more

    • The BEST wet/dry mop I've tried so far - lots of power, does a great job and battery lasts!
This is a really good wet dry vac/mop for hardwood floors. The other one I tried had a very short battery life and didn't clean nearly as well as this one. This mop/cleaner has 2 modes for cleaning... basic, and then a more powerful mode. The basic did a great job on its own, but there were a couple sticky spots of left-over residue on my kitchen floor that the other mop just couldn't seem to get. In basic mode, this mop was slowly removing the grime... but when I put it on the high-power mode... it cleaned through it in about 10-15 seconds. It was a spot that I didn't realized would even ever come clean! I ran this thing on high mode for about 5-7 minutes, plus normal mode for another 5 minutes or so... and when I put it back in the charger it looks like I hadn't used more than about 30% of its charge. It claims to have 30 minutes of run-time, and that sounds accurate. Cleaning it was easy. In short: I love this thing and highly recommend it. ... show more
