Used this to attach to back of my rv to hold my poop tank. Install is pretty easy and straight forward. The straps are a little flimsy but I just added a ratchet strap and boom super solid.

Overall, it is not a bad system for the price. That being said, the thread on the brackets end at near exactly the 4 inch mark. This means you can't really snug it down without overrunning the thread. Only a single washer comes with each. The instructions say that is your bumper is less than 4 inches you will need extra washers. Our was exactly 4 and we still needed them. Not really a big deal, just pretty inconvenient. Also you either need a box end 10mm wrench or an extremely long 10mm socket. ... show more

Hanging heavier items off the bumper is not recommended. Check your warranty. These are well made and we just used them for the first time. No bouncing, fairly large capacity unit ( I was afraid it would be to big...) was very stable. Highly recommended....

I used the 28 gallon model on it. It is secure and I have had it on the bumper for 500 miles and o problems. My wife made a cover for the tank and it covers the tank and bracket. Secure with no movement or problem so far.
