  • DISHWASHER SAFE: All parts of our stainless steel bento boxes are dishwasher safe, including the lid! No need to hand wash lids separately from the container bases like with other brands with lids made from plastic or with embedded gunky gaskets.
  • TRUSTED MISSION-BASED BRAND: California eco mom and environmentalist Sandra Ann Harris designed the original ECOlunchbox stainless steel food container more than 10 years ago to pack lunches for her two young children. The woman-owned company continues as a mission-based, family-owned business dedicated to helping people reduce their dependence on plastics for health and environmental reasons. • Perfect for school snacks
Item Package Quantity: 4
I love packing veggies in these containers for my kids’ school lunches, lid fits tight, easy to clean

  • Perfect size for kids snack pack
Item Package Quantity: 1
Great product. I used to have same item I purchased from the local kitchen store. I loved it as it’s super handy size for my daughters snack to go, almonds, blueberries, goldfish and dried fruits.... My daughter lost it at kinder and had to replace. The quality doesn’t seem as good, as there is small gap on the outside corners (still somewhat leakproof so totally fine fanctionwise). Almost returned it but decided not to go through the hustle of finding the “original” version. ... show more

  • This is even more than a first class EDC tin
Item Package Quantity: 1
For a very long time I've heard about the EDC breath mint tin where the user can put things like fishing line and fire starting tools and or band-aids etc. into it. This little tool is even better in that it is absolute top quality and nontoxic stainless steel, so I wouldn't think twice about putting food items like peanuts or what ever in it. As a side note, it really is a very beautiful little box and can easily be polished to a mirror finish and serve as a reflector. Using ones imagination this beautiful little box can be used for all kinds of things. I'll be stopping by my local bike shop to pick up one of their thrown away bicycle tire inner tubes to use as a ranger band to create an extra seal for the outer portion of the stainless steel box (and have as a fire starting aid). Well, I did in deed put this little guy right into my EDC Maxpidition. ECOlunchbox you folks produce a first class tool and I will more than likely be purchasing one of your other stainless steel boxes very soon. Keep up the wonderful work and I give you guys an A+, take care. Weston Knight ... show more

  • Great containers, sticker labels attached with nasty glue can't get off
Item Package Quantity: 4
Love the stainless steal containers. However the labels were attached with a nasty glue that wouldn't come off. Half a year of heavy use and washing in dishwasher, and only I managed to get 2 out of 4 containers clean off the glue stains. Only worked on hot out of dishwasher containers. While cleaning the glue off ruined the dish sponge. Great containers, but somebody cut corners on attaching labels. ... show more

  • Very happy with this purchase
Item Package Quantity: 4
Great size, edges are safe for kids but tricky to get apart. I love that they are not plastic, hold up nicely in the dishwasher and are the perfect size for school lunch boxes. I'm not sure if either my 5 yr old or 2.5 yr old are opening these on their own, they can be a bit stubborn, otherwise I would've rated five stars. ... show more

  • Perfect for travel and good for small hands
Item Package Quantity: 4
We use these as snack containers (almost exactly as pictured) to send to daycare with my toddler. He is two and a half and can open the boxes on his own. The juice from macerated strawberries, tangerine slices, and watermelon have leaked when he's tossed the pods into his lunch bag on their sides. Apple, blueberries, red bell peppers have traveled without incident. I read other reviews where the users have had tremendous difficulty with the lids... I have found them tough to pry off when the lid was pressed onto the pod too far. There is a small ledge around the waist of the pod that should stop the lid, but with some force, the lid can slip past the ledge and get jammed up. Usually a little coconut oil, olive oil, or warm water (metal expands) and dishwashing soap loosens it up. ... show more

  • Is this box well made? Yes. Well designed? No. Will it hold stuff? Yes. Will you ever get your stuff out of the box? Not likely.
Item Package Quantity: 1
I doubt that it will hold a liquid without leaking, but it will hold almost anything else. Put your product inside, seal it up and then kiss your stuff GOOD BYE! You'll probably never see your stuff again. The box is almost impossible to open, and thus pretty useless. I'm over six feet tall and pretty strong, yet I can barely get the box open. Even using a rubber mat made for gripping slick jar lids was no help. Part of the problem is the SUPER tight seal, and the other part is that the small areas available to grip on the top and bottom sections are very smooth and do not permit a good grip. They should have been made with some sort of textured areas on them to allow you to get a good enough grip to pull the two box halves apart. I do not see how most people could open it. I've thought about sticking something like skate board grip tape to several surfaces to see if that helps. Of course then it won't be too dish washer friendly. Other than as a miniature time capsule, I can't think of a good use for this box. ... show more

  • My favorite container for snacks
Item Package Quantity: 1
I have a few of these containers and they are great for snacks. I have been using them for over a year almost daily. There are no dents or rust and they still look new. I really like the size they will not fit a large amount of snacks but it's perfect for a large handful of smaller size snacks or about three small cookies. I like that they are rectangle because they fit better in a lunch box than a circle container (which most are.) The lid stays on tight but is easy to remove when I need to. This is a great container for dry snacks or grapes but would not be a good choice for wet snacks like yogurt. ... show more
