    • Affordable beginner coop/run with good customer service
This is a great chicken coop for someone that doesn't live in high humidity areas. My purchase was from over a year ago and I'm glad I put on 2 layers of outdoor wood sealer before assembly. It is rather small but works for 2-3 chickens. The benefit of it being smaller comes in play when moving the whole coop and run together so your chickens always have access to fresh grass. The main issue I have experienced with this product is the thin metal tray that is included. It rusted through about 8 months into use. But after contacting Ecolinear's customer service even after the warranty, they sent over replacement parts. With the added layer of sealer and spraying some clearcoat on the roof material, I can honestly say this is a great beginner backyard coop/run for a small flock. It will likely last long enough for you to outgrow it as you fall in love with having more and more chickens. ... show more

Very thin wood. Very small, big enough for only 1 chicken. My Rhode Island Red bairly fits through the door. Not worth 200 at all.

Very flimsy, wood was cracked in half on frame for the run door where a hole was predrilled. For the run nothing was labeled, so put together by looking @ pictures(which took longer than it probablyshould have). Had two extra panels that could have been used to extend the run but didn't have a panel for the top. Coop was okay, Did paint it because wood seemed very cheap like it would rot fast. Will probably only get 1or 2 years out of it but used for starter chickens until they're big enough for big coop. ... show more

    • Let's really look at this.
I read the reviews on this prior to purchase and was definitely hesitant. But I contemplated it a bit and figured I would give it a shot. First off, the construction is made of a very lightweight soft fir wood. Many folks have commented that it's cheap and unsturdy, and this may be partially true, but fir wood will not rot easily and its good it's lightweight for if you have to move it. Secondly, it's on the lower price point of chicken coops, you can't expect a ridiculously sturdy high end coop for this price. It does the job and does it well, but it's not built like the darn pyramids. Third, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I read some reviews stating otherwise, but I found them pretty straightforward. It took about 25 minutes for complete setup. Lastly, it states it can fit 6-8 chickens. I purchase 6. It's definitely a tight fit for 6 full grown chickens, if you do 6 bantem chickens they will fit great. But if you're going with full size chickens I would aim for no more than 4. I purchased this as a starter coop because I am newer to owning chickens and didn't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money. This coop definitely does the job and will work for the near future. As I get more comfortable with this I may purchase a second one to connect end to end to make 240" coop, which would be pretty awesome. Or I may invest in a much larger coop. Either way. I would say this product is pretty good for a starter, but don't go for 6-8. I would say 4-6 max. ... show more

I loved this bad boy, because it was so easy to put together. As a first time chicken owner, it will definitely do the job as my girls are growing. They love their new home, they snuggle together every night inside and wait at the door every morning to come outside and greet the sun! We had all kinds of messes with our coop. I would like to start off by saying the seller WAS very understanding and they did issue a partial refund for all our troubles, that being said, it is not worth the money still. It is very weak flimsey material. The pre-made holes on the roof were in the wrong spots and spaced too far apart. This made it so my roof was no longer waterproof and I had to make my own holes AND fill the old ones to avoid water getting inside the coop. The tray for the inside floor had a dent in it and was not square, so it does not fit all the way in the coop like it is supposed to. It came with the incorrect amount of screws and hardware PLUS very poor instructions (a lot left to figure out on your own). If you are handy, it might be something you can get together, but for the amount of money you would pay, you are better off building a STURDY coop that will keep your animals safe. ... show more

This product arrived and extremely disappointed. Since my friend was in need of a coop, he will modify this flimsy coop. The wood is thin and arrived split. It looks good, lacks quality workmanship, and low quality cuts. It's a prefab and the torque setting is too high where screws go. The runs do not connect unless you modify it yourself. The width is literally enough for one to stand. There is truly no place to hang a feeder and water. The coop actually is comfortable for one chicken. There is no perch for chicken, no true space for nesting/roosting, and the ladder/ walking board is actually small in width, the chicken walking on it hung over. This is a terrible product with no concern for producing quality coops and run. Do not believe the photo, its marketing ploy that captures the eye. Buy from any other company/brand than this one. We do not recommend this product or seller. Unless they right the wrong of this super cheap material at an outrageous cost of $199.00 for this flimsy coop and runs. ... show more

Product arrived sooner than expected by weeks. Was a little confusing on instructions but simple to build. There’s also multiple ways you can choose to build it. Mine turned out great and the wire is sturdy.
