This is the second tape dispenser I have purchased (the first being from a different seller and it would not cut properly as some of the teeth were bent and damaged, which I returned). I had purchased heat resistant tape from "echomerx" and decided to try the tape dispenser they sold. It was the same as the first, it does seem a little heavier and does cut, but sometimes on the left side it doesn't cut all the way through thereby giving you a 2-inch piece instead of a 1-inch piece. Great concept of if it actually worked properly. The tape roll on the left side of the middle part rarely cuts. Idk if mine is just defective but it's very irritating when it doesn't cut nd gets jammed in there. Especially when I have back to back projects to make!
