This is the second tape dispenser I have purchased (the first being from a different seller and it would not cut properly as some of the teeth were bent and damaged, which I returned). I had purchased heat resistant tape from "echomerx" and decided to try the tape dispenser they sold. It was the same as the first, it does seem a little heavier and does cut, but sometimes on the left side it doesn't cut all the way through thereby giving you a 2-inch piece instead of a 1-inch piece. I love this product! It did take awhile to deliver, but soooo worth the wait. I helped wrap gifts at my church and there were over 100 gifts. This was great to have!! I just put in two tape rolls and it dispensed great sized strips with just a turn of the wheel.

    • Just ok, cheaply made
This is just ok. For one it's very cheaply made. My blade on the side for longer cuts is also crooked. I'm sure I could somehow get it off and put it in straight, it is what it is. The first thing I dont care for is you can only use smaller rolls of tape. What I mean by that is the amount of tape on the actual roll. I buy and use the 72 yard rolls. They will not fit. I had to use a roll that I already using so had less tape on it. So it's pointless for me in the fact that I can't use the tape that I use, as a new roll. I use the half inch size tape and you can fit 3 on there. While this does the job, as I stated previously it's very cheaply made so I'm not expecting it to hold up after little time passes but I'll update here if and when it kicks the bucket. If you're someone who would use it less often it may work longer for you. While this is a cool gadget as a concept and I just had to try it as it would save me time by all the pre cuts if it really did work well...if you're like me and would be using it very often/daily, I recommend looking into a higher end one. ... show more
